Lidl

Saturday morning. I awoke at 7:30, got dressed, and went to Lidl to buy potatoes for tonight's dinner that I forgot to buy yesterday. They had some nice, small, yellow pairs so I bought 4 of them. I like Lidl for their fruits and vegetables and it's very close to our flat.

The lawyer will be here on Tuesday with our wills and power of attorney. I have to have an official, sworn translator here also. It's another chunk of money to put out but it needs to be done now. Who knows what the future holds and I don't want Joan's daughter to have any problem when it finally comes. Both documents have to be according to Polish laws, not American. The law says any foreigner obtaining those types of documents has to have a sworn translator present. I have made that arrangement.

The sun dropped by for a few hours today before i was overwhelmed by the gray clouds and vanished. Its cousin, the sun over Spain has been in full view for the past 3 days with a temperature of 20C. Here, in Poznan, it was 9C.

Sobota rano. Obudziłam się o 7:30, ubrałam się i poszłam do Lidla kupić ziemniaki na dzisiejszy obiad, których zapomniałam kupić wczoraj. Mieli jakieś ładne, małe, żółte parówy więc kupiłam 4 sztuki. Lubię Lidla za ich owoce i warzywa, a poza tym jest bardzo blisko naszego mieszkania.

Prawnik będzie tu we wtorek z naszymi testamentami i pełnomocnictwami. Muszę mieć tu również oficjalnego, przysięgłego tłumacza. To kolejna suma pieniędzy do wyłożenia, ale trzeba to zrobić teraz. Kto wie, co przyniesie przyszłość, a ja nie chcę, żeby córka Joanny miała jakieś problemy, kiedy ona w końcu nadejdzie. Oba dokumenty muszą być zgodne z polskim prawem, nie amerykańskim. Prawo mówi, że każdy obcokrajowiec załatwiający tego typu dokumenty musi mieć przy sobie tłumacza przysięgłego. Tak też uczyniłem.

Słońce wpadło dziś na kilka godzin, zanim zostało przytłoczone przez szare chmury i zniknęło. To kuzyn, słońce nad Hiszpanią było w pełnym świetle przez ostatnie 3 dni, a temperatura wynosiła 20C. Tutaj, w Poznaniu, było 9C.

Sábado por la mañana. Me desperté a las 7:30, me vestí y fui al Lidl a comprar patatas para la cena de esta noche que se me olvidó comprar ayer. Tenían unas bonitas, pequeñas y amarillas, así que compré 4. Me gusta Lidl por sus frutas y verduras y está muy cerca de nuestro piso.

El abogado vendrá el martes con nuestros testamentos y poderes. También tengo que traer un traductor oficial y jurado. Es otro pedazo de dinero que hay que poner pero hay que hacerlo ya. Quién sabe lo que depara el futuro y no quiero que la hija de Joan tenga ningún problema cuando finalmente llegue. Ambos documentos tienen que ser según las leyes polacas, no americanas. La ley dice que cualquier extranjero que obtenga ese tipo de documentos tiene que contar con un traductor jurado. He hecho ese arreglo.
