Day 5

It's the fifth day of war and still, Russian forces have not taken the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv. The President of Ukraine is making a desperate appeal to be accepted into NATO but I think that will not happen. That would mean the U.S. and other countries' armies would be at war with Russia. Sitting back quietly is China, watching what is happening.

Over, 350,000 Ukrainians have crossed borders into Poland, Romania, and Moldova trying to escape from the war.

Back here, it was a quiet, sunny day with Joan sleeping on and off after breakfast. She is still not eating much and that doesn't help her energy level at all.

We started watching "Viking Valhalla" on Netflix. It's a follow-up series to the original "Vikings" series. It's entertaining enough to watch.

Mija piąty dzień wojny, a wojska rosyjskie wciąż nie zajęły stolicy Ukrainy, Kijowa. Prezydent Ukrainy rozpaczliwie apeluje o przyjęcie do NATO, ale moim zdaniem tak się nie stanie. Oznaczałoby to, że wojska USA i innych krajów znalazłyby się w stanie wojny z Rosją. Chiny siedzą cicho i przyglądają się temu, co się dzieje. 

Ponad 350 tys. Ukraińców przekroczyło granice Polski, Rumunii i Mołdawii, próbując uciec przed wojną. 

Tutaj był spokojny, słoneczny dzień, a Joan po śniadaniu spała z przerwami. Nadal niewiele je, co wcale nie pomaga jej w utrzymaniu poziomu energii. 

Zaczęliśmy oglądać "Viking Valhalla" na Netflixie. Jest to kontynuacja oryginalnego serialu "Wikingowie". Ogląda się go dość przyjemnie.

Es el quinto día de guerra y todavía las fuerzas rusas no han tomado la capital de Ucrania, Kiev. El presidente de Ucrania está haciendo un llamamiento desesperado para que se le acepte en la OTAN, pero creo que eso no ocurrirá. Eso significaría que los ejércitos de Estados Unidos y de otros países estarían en guerra con Rusia. China está sentada tranquilamente, observando lo que está sucediendo.

Más de 350.000 ucranianos han cruzado las fronteras hacia Polonia, Rumanía y Moldavia tratando de escapar de la guerra.

De vuelta aquí, fue un día tranquilo y soleado, con Joan durmiendo a ratos después del desayuno. Sigue sin comer mucho y eso no ayuda en absoluto a su nivel de energía.

Empezamos a ver "Viking Valhalla" en Netflix. Es la continuación de la serie original de "Vikingos". Es bastante entretenida de ver.
