Radek & Lawyer

Another meeting with Radek discussing the situation in Ukraine. His opinion is they won't invade, opposite of my opinion. Naturally, I hope he is right.  He is going to Florence, Italy next week for another Tango event and making plans to go to the U.S. later this year to visit Chicago and then Alaska. I gave him what I thought would be interesting places to visit.

Earlier, the lawyer/notary and the official translator came and read to us in English what the wills said and the power of attorney. We signed them and the wills be entered into the Polish archives. We will receive the official copies sometime next week. I made a recording of the meeting and will send it to Joan's daughter who is the sole beneficiary. 

Tomorrow is haircut day at 1PM(13:00).

Kolejne spotkanie z Radkiem, na którym omawialiśmy sytuację na Ukrainie. Jego zdanie jest takie, że nie dokonają inwazji, czyli odwrotnie niż ja. Oczywiście mam nadzieję, że ma rację.  W przyszłym tygodniu jedzie do Florencji we Włoszech na kolejną imprezę tańca tango oraz planuje wyjazd do Stanów Zjednoczonych jeszcze w tym roku, aby odwiedzić Chicago, a następnie Alaskę. Podałem mu, co moim zdaniem mogłoby być interesującymi miejscami do zwiedzania. 

Wcześniej przyszedł prawnik/notariusz i  tłumacz przysięgły, który przeczytał nam po angielsku treść testamentów i pełnomocnictw. Podpisaliśmy je i testamenty zostały wpisane do polskiego rejestru. Oficjalne kopie otrzymamy w przyszłym tygodniu. Zrobiłem nagranie ze spotkania i prześlę je córce Joan, która jest jedynym beneficjentem. 

Jutro o 13:00 jest dzień na wizytę u fryzjera i strzyżenie.

Otra reunión con Radek para hablar de la situación en Ucrania. Su opinión es que no van a invadir, lo contrario de mi opinión. Naturalmente, espero que tenga razón.  La semana que viene irá a Florencia (Italia) para asistir a otro evento de tango y está haciendo planes para ir a Estados Unidos a finales de año para visitar Chicago y luego Alaska. Le di lo que pensé que serían lugares interesantes para visitar.

Antes, el abogado/notario y el traductor oficial vinieron y nos leyeron en inglés lo que decían los testamentos y el poder. Los firmamos y los testamentos se introdujeron en los archivos polacos. Recibiremos las copias oficiales en algún momento de la próxima semana. Hice una grabación de la reunión y se la enviaré a la hija de Joan, que es la única beneficiaria. 

Mañana es el día del corte de pelo a la 1PM(13:00).
