At the hair salon for Joan, I translated what she wanted into Spanish for the hairdresser, asked how long it would take, and then used that time to go for a coffee on the boardwalk. 5 minutes later, I returned and took Joan for our tostadas and coffee breakfast. The cost was 8.45 euros(36 PLN)($8.45).
From there we went to get a bus schedule from the local tourist's office for the bus to Dos Mares where I will go food shopping. Ester has given me the name of a young woman who will come and sit with Joan while I am gone. It will make it so much easier for me to shop.
Toward evening I discovered I didn't take anything out of the freezer for dinner, so we had to go out to eat. It is difficult now finding a dinner place that is open before 8PM but I remembered one that we went to years ago and it was open.
We had a delicious dinner. First, there was fresh bread with a garlic/mayonnaise dip. Then a salad of tuna strips, tomatoes, walnuts, and olives. For the main course, we had paella with chicken and prawns. Everything tasted great. The wine was an excellent red wine from Spain. The dessert was chocolate mousse. The paella was so big we took half of it home for dinner tomorrow night. We paid 53 euros but considering we have another paella dinner tomorrow night, which is 26.5 euros for each night.
W salonie fryzjerskim dla Joan, przetłumaczyłam fryzjerce, co chciała na hiszpański, zapytałam jak długo to potrwa, a następnie wykorzystałam ten czas, aby pójść na kawę na deptaku. 5 minut później wróciłem i zabrałem Joan na nasze śniadanie z tostadas i kawą. Koszt wyniósł 8,45 euro(36 zł)(8,45$).
Stamtąd poszliśmy po rozkład jazdy autobusu z lokalnego biura turystycznego na autobus do Dos Mares, gdzie zrobię zakupy spożywcze. Ester podała mi imię młodej kobiety, która przyjdzie i posiedzi z Joan podczas mojej nieobecności. To bardzo ułatwi mi robienie zakupów.
Pod wieczór odkryłam, że nie wyjęłam nic z zamrażarki na kolację, więc musiałyśmy pójść coś zjeść. To jest trudne teraz znajdować obiad miejsce który jest otwarty przed 8PM ale pamiętałem jeden że pójść do lat temu i to był otwarty.
Mieliśmy pyszną kolację. Najpierw był świeży chleb z dipem czosnkowo-majonezowym. Następnie sałatka z pasków tuńczyka, pomidorów, orzechów włoskich i oliwek. Na danie główne mieliśmy paellę z kurczakiem i krewetkami. Wszystko smakowało wyśmienicie. Wino było doskonałym czerwonym winem z Hiszpanii. Deserem był mus czekoladowy. Paella była tak duża, że połowę zabraliśmy do domu na jutrzejszą kolację. Zapłaciliśmy 53 euro, ale biorąc pod uwagę, że jutro wieczorem mamy kolejną kolację z paellą, która wynosi 26,5 euro za każdą noc.
