For the birds.

Many of the parks in Poznan have provided bird feeders. Just after the New Year, old beets and spoiled meat appeared in Wilson Park. The park is named after President Woodrow Wilson. It turned out, the local community was getting rid of leftover Christmas food. Birds also shouldn't eat moldy food, especially bread. Experts from the State Forests even say that bread kills birds. For 1 PLN, anyone can get a handful of grains to feed the birds. I think that is a good idea.

The weather is normal now for Poland, 7 C, gray and rainy. Where we are going in Spain, the weather is 18 C and sunny. It is going to be good to take Joan out every day and cruise down the boardwalk in front of the waterfront. 

W wielu poznańskich parkach pojawiły się karmniki dla ptaków. Tuż po Nowym Roku w Parku Wilsona pojawiły się stare buraki i zepsute mięso. Park nosi nazwę od nazwiska prezydenta Woodrowa Wilsona. Jak się okazało, lokalna społeczność pozbywała się resztek świątecznego jedzenia. Ptaki nie powinny też jeść spleśniałego jedzenia, zwłaszcza chleba. Eksperci z Lasów Państwowych twierdzą nawet, że chleb zabija ptaki. Za 1 zł każdy może dostać garść ziaren do karmienia ptaków. Myślę, że to dobry pomysł.

Pogoda jest teraz normalna jak na Polskę, 7 C, szaro i deszczowo. Tam, dokąd jedziemy w Hiszpanii, temperatura wynosi 18 C i jest słonecznie. Dobrze będzie codziennie wyciągać Joan na spacer i rejsować po deptaku wzdłuż nabrzeża.
