We headed west this morning on route A2 until we reach the turn off for Baranowo, only a few kilometers from Pozna艅. We traveled north to Napachanie, about 20 kilometers where I wanted to find an old Palace I had heard about. 4 kilometers past the sign for Napachanie, on the right side of the road, I saw it sitting. I don't know who owns it now but it is still in good shape but unoccupied. It is surrounded by a wire fence so we couldn't get real close but this new camera I have did a good picture of zooming in for close up shots. In the pictures I took I can see much more detail than I was able to see from a distance. To the left of the palace sits an old school and a small apartment building is behind the palace to the left of it. It still has a good piece of land in front and back of it, all fenced.

The stone work above the door shows a sun in the top left corner with a plough, wheat stalks, flowers and birds. Above the door are the initials R.B. and the year 1897. I walked all around the property taking photos but couldn't get closer. There is a nice gate the leads to the entrance over the bridge on the southwest side of the house. I can only imagine what this place looked like in more prosperous times.

The village of Napachanie dates back to the 16th century. The palace was built in the Queen Anne Renaissance style. In the front are the characteristic English bay windows and the entrance portal is made from sandstone. In 1918 the property was owned by George Kullaka.

The most famous person fron this small village was known as Antoni from Napachanie. Born in 1494, son of the village administrator, he went to Krakow where he obained a batchelors degree in 1513 amd a Masters of Liberal Arts in 1519. He became a professor and rector of Krakow's Jagiellion University and preacher for Zygmunt II. He published the first theological work in defence of Catholicism. It was called

Podr贸偶owali艣my na p贸艂noc do do Napachanie gdzie chcia艂em znale藕膰 stary Pa艂ac, kt贸ry us艂ysza艂em oko艂o.

Kamienna praca powy偶ej drzwi pokazuje s艂o艅ce w g贸rnym opuszcza艂o k膮t z p艂ugiem, 艂odygami pszenicy , kwiatami i ptakami. Powy偶ej drzwi s膮 inicja艂贸w R.B. i rok 1897.
Wie艣 Napachanie datuje wstecz do 16. stulecia. Pa艂ac by艂 zbudowany w kr贸lowej Anna Renesansie stylu. W 1918 w艂asno艣膰 by艂a posiad艂a przez George′a Kullaka.

Urodzony w 1494, syn wiejskiego administratora, on poszed艂 do Krakowa gdzie on obained batchelors stopie艅 w 1513 amd panicze Nauk Humanistycznych w 1519. On sta艂 si臋 profesorem i proboszczem Krakowa Jagiellion Uniwersytetu i kaznodziei dla Zygmunt II. On opublikowa艂 pierwsz膮 teologiczn膮 prac臋 w obronie katolicyzmu. To by艂o nazwane
