Teacher?

I'm conversing with a lady in charge of a Unesco sponsored program that helps teenagers develop the English language at a summer camp in Torun this summer from June 30th to July 18th. You don't have to be a certified teacher to volunteer for this program. We, Joan and I, are just waiting for one particular item in the application to be cleared up before we make our decision to do it. They are looking for volunteers from the United States to come here and do this but since we already live fairly close to Torun it could be possible for us. I think it would be a good way to give something back to Poland. We've already visited there twice so it's not unfamiliar to us and we could easily make a trip on the weekend to visit cousins in Grudziądz. The teenagers are between 16-18 years old and come from different places in Poland.

Another one of our favorite groups is Oregon. They had a very unusual instrumentation.

Rozmawiałem z panią odpowiedzialną z ramienia Unesco za  sponsorowany program, który pomaga młodzieży doskonalić język angielski na obozie letnim w Toruniu od 30 czerwca do 18 lipca. Nie musisz być certyfikowanym nauczycielem jako wolontariusz w tym programie.  Joan i ja czekamy na jeden konkretny element  w aplikacji, który ma zostać wyjaśniony, zanim podejmiemy naszą decyzję, czy się zaangażujemy.  Oni szukają wolontariuszy w Stanach  Zjednoczonych, którzy tu przyjadą i będą pracować, ale skoro już mieszkamy dość blisko  Torunia, to możemy wziąć w tym udział. Myślę, że będzie to dobry sposób, aby dać Polsce coś w zamian. Dwukrotnie odwiedzaliśmy tamte strony, nie są nam obce i możemy łatwo zrobić wycieczkę w czasie weekendu i  odwiedzić kuzynów w Grudziądzu. Nastolatki mają 16-18 lat i pochodzą z różnych miejsc w Polsce.

Kolejną  naszą ulubioną grupą jest Oregon. Mieli bardzo nietypowe instrumentarium.
