Speaking of this date, it reminds me of how lucky I have been in my life to know of some truly great men. Musicians there heave been many, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Oscar Peterson, Carlos Montoya, Pablo Casals, Andres Segovia, Pavarotti; painters, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Georgia O'Keefe; leaders, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Pope Jan Pawel II, Robert Kennedy and John F. Kennedy. It's hard to believe 51 years as passed since his assassination on this day in Dallas. I was living in Spain when it happened, a day I will never forget.
