Pancake

I made the German Oven Pancake for breakfast with blackberries inside and strawberry jam on top.  We like it. Then at 10:30 Radek came over for our English and Spanish time. He won't be here next week because he is going to another tango event. He loves that tango!

After he left, we watched the first day of the DNC convention with all the virtual speakers. Michele Obama was the best of them all. Today is another day with more virtual speakers. It was an intelligent decision to hold the convention virtually with the coronavirus hanging over everyone's head. That's why Trump will hold a "live" convention, no intelligence.

Bartosz came late today, 17:15(5:15) so it messed up my talk with cousin Andrzej tonight. Maybe he will be available Thursday night.

My Polish lesson was at 16:00(4PM). I talked about how Joan and I met, about the grandkids and Agnieszka mad another vocabulary list. I also asked her to prepare a test for me at the end of the month to see if I am making any progress

For dinner, I made a fruit salad of blueberries, grapes, cranberries, apples, oranges, bananas, plums, nuts, and dates.

Na śniadanie zrobiłam German Oven Pancake z jeżynami w środku i dżemem truskawkowym na wierzchu. Lubimy to. Następnie o 10:30 Radek przyszedł na nasz angielski i hiszpanski czas. Nie będzie go tu w przyszłym tygodniu, ponieważ wybiera się na inną imprezę tanga. Uwielbia to tango!

Po jego wyjściu oglądaliśmy pierwszy dzień konwentu DNC ze wszystkimi wirtualnymi mówcami. Michele Obama był najlepszy z nich wszystkich. Dzisiaj jest kolejny dzień z większą liczbą wirtualnych głośników. To była mądra decyzja, aby kongres odbył się praktycznie z koronawirusem wisi nad głowami wszystkich. Dlatego Trump będzie organizował konwencję „na żywo”, bez wywiadu.

Bartosz przyszedł dziś późno, 17:15 (5:15), więc zepsuło to moją dzisiejszą rozmowę z kuzynem Andrzejem. Może będzie dostępny w czwartek wieczorem.

Moja lekcja polskiego była o 16:00 (16:00). Opowiedziałem o tym, jak poznałyśmy się z Joan, o wnukach, a Agnieszka sporządziła kolejną listę słownictwa. Poprosiłem ją również o przygotowanie dla mnie testu pod koniec miesiąca, aby sprawdzić, czy robię postępy.

Na obiad zrobiłem sałatkę owocową z jagód, winogron, żurawiny, jabłek, pomarańczy, bananów, śliwek, orzechów i daktyli.

Hice el panqueque al horno alemán para el desayuno con moras adentro y mermelada de fresa encima. Nos gusta. Luego, a las 10:30, Radek vino a pasar nuestro tiempo en inglés y español. No estará aquí la semana que viene porque va a otro evento de tango. ¡Le encanta ese tango!

Después de que se fue, vimos el primer día de la convención DNC con todos los oradores virtuales. Michele Obama fue el mejor de todos. Hoy es otro día con más ponentes virtuales. Fue una decisión inteligente celebrar la convención virtualmente con el coronavirus colgando sobre la cabeza de todos. Es por eso que Trump celebrará una convención "en vivo", sin inteligencia.

Bartosz llegó tarde hoy, 17:15 (5:15) así que arruinó mi charla con el primo Andrzej esta noche. Quizás esté disponible el jueves por la noche.

Mi lección de polaco fue a las 16:00 (4:00 p.m.). Hablé sobre cómo nos conocimos Joan y yo, sobre los nietos, y Agnieszka hizo otra lista de vocabulario. También le pedí que me preparara una prueba a fin de mes para ver si estaba progresando.

Para la cena, hice una ensalada de frutas de arándanos, uvas, arándanos, manzanas, naranjas, plátanos, ciruelas, nueces y dátiles.
