Mistake, mismanagement, and the lot. that is all I can say about Rehasport Facility where we have our neurologist.

I made an appointment 2 weeks ago with Dr, Pawlak. The SMS said it was for 9:20. Friday I received an SMS to confirm the appointment, only at their facility in Gdansk on the northern border of Poland. That is about a 4-5 hour drive. Even though I thought I was replying NO to that message, I called and explained I live in Poznan and wanted an appointment here. The girl said OK and hung up. 

This morning, we went for the appointment, only to find out there are two Dr. Pawlaks with different first names and they gave me an appointment with the wrong one so there was no appointment. Our neurologist called at 11:30 and said to come to him at 15:00(3  PM), which we did. Of course, taking advantage of Covid, the price of the visit has gone up.

After viewing Joan's various tests and MRI, he didn't have good news. He only confirmed what I have known, that Joan's cognitive skills have gotten worse since our last visit. He tested her for an hour and a half before he gave us the news. I asked about Spain and he said it would be good for her but first, the creatine in her blood numbers had to improve. She does not have enough. He said to consult our General Practitioner this week. He also said it would be good to have another neuropsychologist assessment done like we did 2 1/2 years ago in Gdansk, to compare the decline rate.

Błąd, złe zarządzanie, i dużo więcej. To wszystko , co mogę powiedzieć o Rehasport Facility , gdzie mamy naszego neurologa. 

Umówiłem się na wizytę 2 tygodnie temu z dr Pawlakiem. W SMS-ie było napisane, że na 9:20. W piątek otrzymałem SMS, aby potwierdzić wizytę, tylko że  w ich placówce w Gdańsku na północnej granicy Polski. To jest około 4-5 godzin jazdy samochodem. Mimo, że myślałem, że odpowiadam NIE na tę wiadomość, zadzwoniłem i wyjaśniłem, że mieszkam w Poznaniu i chcę się umówić tutaj. Dziewczyna powiedziała OK i rozłączyła się. 

Dziś rano poszliśmy na wizytę, ale okazało się, że jest dwóch dr Pawlaków z różnymi imionami i dali mi wizytę z tym niewłaściwym, więc nie było żadnej wizyty. Nasz neurolog zadzwonił o 11:30 i powiedział, żebyśmy przyszli do niego o 15:00(3 PM). I tak też zrobiliśmy. Oczywiście wykorzystując  Covida, cena wizyty poszła w górę. 

Po obejrzeniu różnych badań i rezonansu Joan, nie miał dobrych wiadomości. Potwierdził tylko to, co już wiedziałam, że zdolności poznawcze Joan pogorszyły się od naszej ostatniej wizyty. Testował ją przez półtorej godziny, zanim przekazał nam wieści. Zapytałem o Hiszpanię, a on powiedział, że to byłoby dla niej dobre, ale najpierw musi się poprawić poziom kreatyniny w jej krwi. Nie ma jej wystarczająco dużo. Powiedział, żebyśmy skonsultowali się z naszym lekarzem rodzinnym w tym tygodniu. Powiedział też, że dobrze byłoby zlecić kolejne badania neuropsychologiczne, tak jak to miało miejsce 2 i pół roku temu w Gdańsku, aby porównać tempo spadku.

Pedí una cita hace 2 semanas con el Dr. Pawlak. El SMS decía que era para las 9:20. El viernes recibí un SMS para confirmar la cita, sólo que en sus instalaciones de Gdansk, en la frontera norte de Polonia. Son unas 4-5 horas de viaje. Aunque pensé que respondía NO a ese mensaje, llamé y expliqué que vivía en Poznan y que quería una cita aquí. La chica dijo que sí y colgó. 

Esta mañana, fuimos a la cita, sólo para descubrir que hay dos Dr. Pawlaks con diferentes nombres de pila y me dieron una cita con el equivocado, así que no hubo cita. Nuestro neurólogo llamó a las 11:30 y dijo que fuéramos a verlo a las 15:00 (3 PM), lo cual hicimos. Por supuesto, aprovechando el Covid, el precio de la visita ha subido.

Después de ver las distintas pruebas y la resonancia de Joan, no tuvo buenas noticias. Sólo confirmó lo que ya sabía, que las habilidades cognitivas de Joan han empeorado desde nuestra última visita. La examinó durante una hora y media antes de darnos la noticia. Le pregunté por España y me dijo que sería bueno para ella, pero que primero tenía que mejorar la creatina en su sangre. No tiene suficiente. Dijo que consultáramos a nuestro médico de cabecera esta semana. También dijo que sería bueno que le hicieran otra evaluación neuropsicológica como la que hicimos hace dos años y medio en Gdansk, para comparar el índice de deterioro.
