It was an expensive day today. 155 PLN($37) for 2 blood tests and 399 PLN($93) for medicines. Actually, I think the 399 was a mistake and I will look into it tomorrow. Joan's anti-seizure had the wrong milligrams and the last time I got it, it was on the list of free medicines for seniors over 75. There was a new girl behind the counter in the Apteka, not speaking English, so it was hard to discuss the problem with her. Tomorrow the regular lady will be there and I hope to get it straightened out with her.

We are back into the gray days of pre-winter and I have Joan taking more vitamin D. The longer we live here, the more it tries to creep into our lives so we have to fight against it. Sunshine is so vital to life. Even a few hours a day makes a difference in the way you. Radek was feeling like that yesterday. I told him if we go to Spain, he is invited to come and stay with us. It would be nice to have some company while being there. I'm not sure if Joan's daughter will be able to visit us there yet.

Dzisiaj był drogi dzień . 155 zł($37) za 2 badania krwi i 399 zł($93) za leki. Właściwie to myślę, że te 399 to pomyłka i jutro się temu przyjrzę. Lekarsteo Joan na padaczkę miało nieprawidłowe miligramy  a ostatnim razem, kiedy go dostałem, był na liście darmowych leków dla seniorów powyżej 75 roku życia. W aptece za ladą stała nowa dziewczyna, nie mówiąca po angielsku, więc trudno było z nią omówić problem. Jutro będzie tam pani ze stałego  personelu i mam nadzieję, że uda mi się to z nią wyjaśnić. 

Wróciliśmy do szarych dni przed nastaniem zimy i z tego powodu Joan i ja zażywamy więcej witaminy D. Im dłużej tu mieszkamy, tym bardziej próbuje się  wkraść w nasze życie, więc musimy z nią walczyć. Promienie słoneczne są tak niezbędne do życia. Nawet kilka godzin dziennie robi różnicę w tym, jak się czujesz. Radek czuł się tak wczoraj. Powiedziałem mu, że jeśli pojedziemy do Hiszpanii, to jest zaproszony, żeby się u nas zatrzymać. Byłoby miło mieć jakieś towarzystwo podczas pobytu . Nie jestem pewien, czy córka Joan będzie mogła nas tam jeszcze odwiedzić.

El anticonvulsivo de Joan tenía los miligramos equivocados y la última vez que lo compré estaba en la lista de medicamentos gratuitos para mayores de 75 años. Había una chica nueva detrás del mostrador del Apteka, que no hablaba inglés, así que fue difícil discutir el problema con ella. Mañana estará la chica de siempre y espero poder aclararlo con ella.

Hemos vuelto a los días grises del pre-invierno y tengo a Joan tomando más vitamina D. Cuanto más tiempo vivimos aquí, más intenta colarse en nuestras vidas, así que tenemos que luchar contra ello. El sol es tan vital para la vida. Incluso unas pocas horas al día marcan la diferencia en tu forma de ser. Radek se sentía así ayer. Le dije que si vamos a España, está invitado a venir y quedarse con nosotros. Sería bueno tener algo de compañía mientras estamos allí. No sé si la hija de Joan podrá visitarnos allí todavía.
