Dentist

 Yesterday, I had to visit the dentist to have one tooth extracted. It's always somewhat comical when the dentist is inserting the needle with novocaine and tells you they know it hurts. She may know it hurts but she certainly doesn't feel the pain.

Back home I really didn't feel like cooking so it was pizza night for Joan. I just had yogurt.

Radek was here feeling a little depressed because of the return of gray skies and rain. I told him that if we go to Spain, he is invited to come and stay with us.

Joan was unusually tired today and is sleeping in the recliner already at 14:20. Bartosz is coming at 15:00 and she will not be happy when I wake her before then.

Wczoraj musiałem odwiedzić dentystę, żeby usunąć jeden ząb. Zawsze jest nieco komicznie, kiedy dentysta wbija igłę z nowokainą i mówi ci, że wie, że to boli. Może i wie, że boli, ale na pewno nie czuje bólu. 

Po powrocie do domu naprawdę nie miałem ochoty na gotowanie, więc dla Joan był to wieczór z  pizzą. Ja zjadłem tylko jogurt. 

Radek był nas i czuł się trochę przygnębiony z powodu powrotu szarego nieba i deszczu. Powiedziałem mu, że jeśli pojedziemy do Hiszpanii, to jest zaproszony, aby z nami pobyć. 

Dzisiaj Joan była wyjątkowo zmęczona i już o 14:20 śpi w fotelu. Bartosz przyjeżdża o 15:00 i nie będzie zadowolona, kiedy obudzę ją wcześniej.

Ayer tuve que ir al dentista para que me extrajeran una muela. Siempre es un poco cómico cuando el dentista inserta una aguja con novocaína y te dice que sabe que duele. Puede que sepa que le duele, pero desde luego no siente el dolor. 

\Cuando llegué a casa no tenía muchas ganas de cocinar, así que para Joan fue una noche de pizza. Sólo comía yogur. 

Radek era nosotros y se sentía un poco deprimido por el regreso de los cielos grises y la lluvia. Le dije que si íbamos a España estaba invitado a quedarse con nosotros. 

Hoy Joan estaba muy cansada y a las 14:20 ya está dormida en su silla. Bartholomew llega a las 3 de la tarde y no estará contenta si la despierto antes.
