Vincent

We watched an incredible movie last night from the Polish Film Institute, "Loving Vincent". It is a story about the death of Vincent Van Gogh, made partly in Wroclaw. It is in English. What was so extraordinary about the film was that it had been entirely painted by a team of 100 artists. There is no camera work, It's an animated film with animated-speaking people.

I had to go to the office of disabilities to give them a copy of Joan's permanent residency card. I am hoping to get someone to come and take care of Joan for a few hours 2 days a week. I know that it is possible if the panel of people who review her medical documents agrees to it.

The snow is gone but the gray skies continue to hang around.

Wczoraj wieczorem obejrzeliśmy niesamowity film z Polskiego Instytutu Sztuki Filmowej, "Loving Vincent". Jest to opowieść o śmierci Vincenta Van Gogha, nakręcona częściowo we Wrocławiu. Film jest w języku angielskim. To, co było tak niezwykłe w tym filmie, to fakt, że został on w całości namalowany przez zespół 100 artystów. Jest to film animowany. 

Musiałam pójść do urzędu ds. osób niepełnosprawnych, żeby dać im kopię karty stałego pobytu Joan. Mam nadzieję, że uda mi się załatwić kogoś, kto będzie się nią opiekował przez kilka godzin 2 dni w tygodniu. Wiem, że jest to możliwe, jeśli zgodzi się na to zespół ludzi, którzy przeglądają jej dokumenty medyczne. 

Śnieg zniknął, ale szare niebo nadal się utrzymuje.

Anoche vimos una película increíble del Instituto de Cine Polaco, "Loving Vincent". Es una historia sobre la muerte de Vincent Van Gogh, realizada en parte en Wroclaw. Está en inglés. Lo extraordinario de la película es que ha sido pintada en su totalidad por un equipo de 100 artistas. No hay trabajo de cámara, es una película de animación con gente que habla animada.

Tuve que ir a la oficina de discapacidades para darles una copia de la tarjeta de residencia permanente de Joan. Tengo la esperanza de conseguir que alguien venga a cuidar de Joan durante unas horas 2 días a la semana. Sé que es posible si el grupo de personas que revisa sus documentos médicos está de acuerdo.

La nieve se ha ido pero los cielos grises siguen rondando.
