Half Marathon!

It's the last chance for runners to sign up for this years half-marathon taking place in Poznań for  the sixth year.  The limit of runners is 6,500 and already 6,000 have signed up. We didn't sign up :-)

However, we did go food shopping for next week and spent 128 zl plus 22 zl at Bistry for lunchmeat and kiełbasa.  The total for the week was 150 zl.this time.

It's a high 8c today and Spring is on the way, a little at a time. On the way to the store, in the forest we could see some green vegetation growing. That's always a welcomed sight as winter ends.

One of my conversation partnets resumed our conversations after a week break when she returned to Poland to visit her family and friends. She had a chance to visit with her grandfather who has lived in Zakopane all of his life and she spent many summers there..  I suggested to her that she take a digital recorder with her and make an oral record of all he could tell her about his life and ancestors. It's something I wish I had done when I was her age (23). Of course, I didn't realize the value of such recordings until I was much older and it was too late. I would love to be able to hear the voice of my brother, mother, grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc.

Jednak, pojechaliśmy na zakupy, jedzenie na następny tydzień i spędziłiśmy 128 zł plus 22 zł na Bistry dla węnliny i kiełbasy.Suma dla całego tygodnia był 150 zl.w tym czasu.

Jest to wysokiej 8c dziś i Wiosna jest w drodze, trochę w czasie. W drodze do sklepu, w lesie możemy zobaczyć niektóre zielona roślinność rośnie. To zawsze jest mile widziane wzroku jak końcach zimowych.

Jeden z moich partnerze rozmowy wznowione nasze rozmowy po przerwie tydzień po powrocie do Polski, aby odwiedzić rodzinę i przyjaciół. Miała okazję odwiedzić z dziadkiem który mieszkał w Zakopanem całe życie i spędziła wiele lat tam .. Zasugerowałem jej, że się w cyfrowy dyktafon z nią i ustnego rejestr wszystko, co mógł powiedzieć jej o swoim życiu i przodków. To coś, co chciałbym zrobiłem, kiedy byłem w jej wieku (23). Oczywiście, że nie zdawałem sobie sprawy z wartości takich nagrań aż byłem dużo starszy i było już za późno. Chciałbym móc usłyszeć głos mojego brata, matka, dziadkowie, wujkowie, ciotki, itd.
