Dinners

Usually on Tuesday or Wednesday Joan makes out the menu of dinners she will prepare for the next week and then makes up the shopping list of food we will need to buy when we go to the store on Thursday.  This week is no different. She also looks through her cookbooks for something different to make for desert.  The last thing was the Honey Carrot cake and her newest is a Sunny Honey Cake. She's determined to use up some of our supply of honey.

I won't even talk about the weather, cold and snowy for the next week. Our friend who went to Buenas Aries for the winter and was to return next Monday decided to stay there until after Easter. He probably looked at the weather here and decided to stay where it is warm.

Unless there is a snowstorm tomorrow, we will make the trip to Kościan to visit with our friend rehabbing there. He's been out and walking in this weather so a short walk to the rynek should be no problem for him.  It will be good to see him again.

Zwykle we wtorek lub środę Joan zestawia menu obiadowe, jakie zamierza przygotować w następnym tygodniu, a następnie robilistę produktów żywnościowych, które musimy kupić, gdy w czwartek idziemy do sklepu. W tym tygodniu nie jest inaczej. Przegląda także swoją książkę kucharską w poszukiwaniu czegoś innego na deser. Ostatnio było ciasto marchewkowe, a najnowsze tosłoneczne ciasto miodowe. Joan jest zdecydowana wykorzystać nasze zapasy miodu.

Nawet nie będę rozmawiać o pogodzie, zimno i śnieg na następny tydzień. Nasz przyjaciel,który udał się do Buenos Aires na zimę i miał wrócić w następny poniedziałek postanowiłsię tam zatrzymać, aż do Wielkanocy. Pewnie spojrzał na pogodę tutaj i zdecydował się na pobyt w miejscu, gdzie jest ciepło.

O ile nie będzie jutro śnieżycy, to zrobimy wycieczkę do Kościana, aby odwiedzić naszego przyjaciela przebywającego tam na rehabilitacji.On przebywa na zewnątrz i chodzi wtaką pogodę, więc krótki spacer do Rynku nie powinien być dla niego problemem.Będzie wspaniale zobaczyć go ponownie.
