Kościan visit.

On this cold day, as planned, we drove to Kościan to meet our friend in Kandulski's. It's right on the corner of the town square so it was easy to find.  He was waiting for us inside and it was good to see him again after three weeks.  We sat and talked for two hours and then we walked back to the rehabilitation building where he is staying.  He's not at all happy with the place. He only gets 45 minutes of rehabilitation exercises a day and the rest of the time he is on his own.  In his ward are five other patients and, according to him, all they do is complain throughout the day about many different things. He would be read to leave on Friday but he must stay there for another week.  He said the food is so bad that many times he walks to the square for his meals. Another thing that is surprising is that the meals are delivered each day all the way from Poznań, that's 100km away from Kościan.  There is a larger town nearby, Leszno, but for whatever reason the meals come all the way from Poznań.

After seeing the building he is staying in, the three of us walked back to the square where our car was parked, we said goodbye and drove back home.

Kościan, like many small towns, had the odor of burning coal in the air when we arrived. It's not unusual for small towns to still be using coal to heat homes and other buildings.

Zgodnie z planem, w ten zimny dzień pojechaliśmy do Kościana,by spotkać się z naszym przyjacielem uKandulskich. Cukiernia jest zaraz na rogu placu, więc łatwo było ją znaleźć. Przyjacielczekał na nas w środku idobrze go było zobaczyć ponowniepo trzech tygodniach. Siedzieliśmyi rozmawialiśmy przez dwie godziny, a potem wróciliśmy do budynkurehabilitacji, gdzie on przebywa.On nie jest tak do końca zadowolony ztego miejsca. Dziennie ma tylko tylko 45 minut rehabilitacji i resztę czasu, ma dla siebie. Na jego oddziale jest pięciuinnych pacjentów i według niego, wszystko co robią, to narzekająprzez cały dzień na wiele różnych rzeczy. Przyjaciel miał wyjeżdżaćw piątek, ale musitam zostać na kolejny tydzień.Powiedział, że jedzenie jesttak złe, że wiele razy idziedo miasta na posiłki.Inną zaskakującą sprawą ​​jest to, żeposiłki są dostarczane każdego dniaaż z Poznania, który jest 100 km odKościana. Istnieje większemiasto w pobliżu, Leszno,ale z jakiegoś powodu posiłkipochodzą aż z Poznania.

Po obejrzeniu budynku w którym on przebywa,całą trójką wróciliśmy na plac, gdzie nasz samochód byłzaparkowany, pożegnaliśmy sięi pojechaliśmy do domu.

Kościan, kiedy przyjechaliśmy, miał zapachspalanego węgla w powietrzu,jak wiele małych miejscowości. Nie jest niczym niezwykłymdla małych miast, aby nadal używaćwęgla do ogrzewania domówi innych budynków.
