Thanks, Anonymous, for telling me this is rapeseed. I don't know how I missed that. Maybe because those two fields by our house are not so intense in color like the fields out in the countryside where we live. There it is much easier to recognize the magnificent yellow fields. The aroma is so strong when there are mass quantities of it. Pictures are good but you really have to be here, see it and smell that sweet aroma. It's almost like honey. We took a drive this afternoon to see the beautiful yellow fields and the new road that goes completely around the city. In the U.S. you call this a "ring road"
