Busy day.

 A busier day than expected. Bartosz could only come at 6 PM and Joan is too tired by then to do her exercises so she had none today. The cleaning lady came at 10:30 and I talked with her about coming next Monday at 9:30 and stay for 6 hours. The extra time is needed because I have to have a medical procedure done at 10:00 as an outpatient. It will take some time for me to recover from the anesthetic before I can take myself back home.

In the afternoon I had to go for a chest x-ray. The last one I had they gave me the CD with the images on it and a written report of what they found or didn't find. This new place just gave me the CD and told me to take it to our GP for him to look at. That meant I had to go and make an appointment to see him after Monday.

I thought it was going to be a day just to study, continue putting my programs back on the laptop, and maybe watch a movie with Joan but here it is, 5:30 PM and I am just getting to this writing. Oh well, such is life today.

Dzień bardziej pracowity niż się spodziewałem. Bartosz mógł przyjść dopiero o 18:00, a Joan jest wtedy zbyt zmęczona, żeby wykonywać ćwiczenia, więc nie miała ich dzisiaj. Pani, która zajmuje się sprzataniem, przyszła o 10:30 i rozmawiałam z nią o tym, że w przyszły poniedziałek przyjdzie o 9:30 i zostanie na 6 godzin. Dodatkowy czas jest potrzebny, ponieważ muszę mieć badanie ambulatoryjne wykonane o 10:00.

Zanim dojdę do siebie po znieczuleniu, minie trochę czasu, abym mógł wrócić do domu. 

Po południu musiałem pójść na prześwietlenie klatki piersiowej. Po ostatnim, które miałem otrzymałem płytę CD ze zdjęciami i pisemny raport o tym, co znaleźli lub nie znaleźli. W  nowym miejscu po prostu dostałem płytę CD i powiedziano mi, żebym zabrał ją do naszego lekarza rodzinnego, aby na nią spojrzał. To oznaczało, że muszę iść i umówić się na wizytę po poniedziałku. 

Myślałem, że to będzie dzień tylko na uczenie się, kontynuację umieszczania moich programów z powrotem na laptopie i być może obejrzenie filmu z Joan, ale jest 5:30 PM i właśnie zabrałem się do pisania tego postu. No cóż, tak to  dzisiaj wyglądało.

 Un día más ocupado de lo esperado. Bartosz sólo pudo venir a las 6 de la tarde y Joan está demasiado cansada para hacer sus ejercicios, así que hoy no tuvo ninguno. La señora de la limpieza ha venido a las 10:30 y he hablado con ella para que venga el próximo lunes a las 9:30 y se quede 6 horas. El tiempo extra es necesario porque tengo que hacerme un procedimiento médico a las 10:00 como paciente externo. Me llevará algún tiempo recuperarme de la anestesia antes de poder volver a casa.

Por la tarde tuve que ir a hacerme una radiografía de tórax. La última que me hicieron me dieron el CD con las imágenes y un informe escrito de lo que encontraron o no encontraron. En este nuevo lugar sólo me dieron el CD y me dijeron que lo llevara a nuestro médico de cabecera para que lo viera. Eso significaba que tenía que ir a pedir una cita para verle después del lunes.

Pensé que iba a ser un día sólo para estudiar, seguir poniendo mis programas de nuevo en el portátil, y tal vez ver una película con Joan pero aquí está, 5:30 PM y estoy llegando a este escrito. Oh bueno, así es la vida hoy.
