Strawberry land.

Continuing on in strawberry land, I made the german pancake for breakfast. Inside I put strawberries and blueberry yogurt, folded it over, added strawberry yogurt with strawberries on top. Joan really liked it. Soon, fresh cherries will be available and then I will switch focus to things with them. Until then. I still have another large bowl of strawberries to use up. Maybe scrambled eggs with strawberries is next for an experiment?

I filed our U.S. taxes last night, just in time, and if H&R Block is right, we may get those missing Recovery payments. We may. The return still has to be approved by the IRS first. I am not holding my breath.

As I am writing this, Joan is reading her book by a Spanish author and we are listening to music from a radio station in Santiago de la Ribera. It's called Activa Radio and, amazingly they play music without commercials.

Kontynuując temat truskawek, na śniadanie zrobiłem naleśnik pi niemiecku. Do środka włożyłem truskawki i jogurt jagodowy, złożyłem go, dodałem jogurt truskawkowy z truskawkami na wierzchu. Joan bardzo smakował. Wkrótce będą dostępne świeże czereśnie i wtedy skoncentruję się na daniach rzeczach z nimi. Do tego czasu, wciąż mam dużą miskę truskawek do wykorzystania. Może jajecznica z truskawkami będzie następnym eksperymentem?

Ubiegłego wieczoru, w samą porę, złożyłem nasze amerykańskie zeznanie podatkowe i jeśli H&R Block ma rację, możemy dostać zwrot. Możemy. Zwrot musi być najpierw zatwierdzony przez IRS. Nie wstrzymuję oddechu.

Kiedy to piszę, Joan czyta książkę hiszpańskiego autora i słuchamy muzyki z radia w Santiago de la Ribera. Nazywa się Activa Radio i, o dziwo, grają muzykę bez reklam.

Siguiendo en el país de las fresas, hice la tortita alemana para desayunar. Dentro puse fresas y yogur de arándanos, lo doblé, añadí yogur de fresa con fresas por encima. A Joan le gustó mucho. Pronto habrá cerezas frescas y entonces cambiaré el enfoque a cosas con ellas. Hasta entonces. Todavía tengo otro gran tazón de fresas para usar. ¿Quizás los huevos revueltos con fresas sean el próximo experimento?

Anoche presenté nuestros impuestos estadounidenses, justo a tiempo, y si H&R Block está en lo cierto, puede que consigamos esos pagos de recuperación que nos faltan. Es posible. La declaración todavía tiene que ser aprobada por el IRS primero. No estoy conteniendo la respiración.
