Climate.

No, there is nothing wrong with world climate! The first photo was taken in the early 1900s, the second photo was taken in the early 2000s The Arctic then and now.

With all of the world's troubles now, climate change is getting very little attention. That picture was taken in the early 2000's. What do you think it looks like now?

Here are some interesting things that I learned in just the past few years.

The earth was a lot warmer in Leif Erikson’s time than it is today. Put this in your browser to bring up an interesting article about it: ** Study shows that Vikings enjoyed a warmer Greenland - Although TV and movies paint Vikings as robust souls, braving subzero temperatures in fur pelts and iron helmets, new evidence indicates they might have been basking in 50-degree summer weather when they settled in Greenland. After reconstructing southern Greenland's climate record over the past 3,000 years, a Northwestern University team found that it was relatively warm when the Norse lived there between 985 and 1450 C.E., compared to the previous and following centuries. ** (for the whole article)

Also, a map of Antarctica that was discovered in 1929 but was dated as being drawn in 1513 clearly shows mountain ranges. Put this in your browser for an article: ** The baffling Piri Reis Map of 1513: It showed Antarctica centuries before discovery, but without its ice cap **

So, what does this mean? Was (now icy) Greenland really balmy and warm? How could a map of Antarctica, that was drawn in the 1500s, show mountains? How would a 16th century person know that there were mountains under all that snow? Maybe because there wasn’t all that snow in the 1500s?

Polar tilt is another thing to consider. Every so many thousands of years, the earth tilts more on its axis. So, imagine the earth tilting at a 40° angle. Then, imagine the earth tilting at a 70° angle. If the earth tilts such that it is almost horizontal (the north and south poles wouldn’t be north and south, they’d be east and west), the summer would be a lot hotter because the sun’s rays would be directly focused on the each pole, thereby melting the icecaps. The polar tilt supposedly goes back and forth every so many thousands of years - almost horizontal to almost vertical. That accounts for your photographs. Your photographs are only a hundred years apart, not thousands of years, but read the Leif Erikson and other articles. I can’t accept that it’s as cut and dried as “global warming is because of humans”. Also, read about how volcanoes do more than what humans do.

Ignore, Dave, ignore. They're goading you.

How am I goading anyone? I just offered pieces of information that I learned. I’m open to different points of view.

Anonymous..Listen dude....keep your head in the sand for as long as you like, Without a liveable climate nothing else will matter. Your attempt at deflection doesn't work.

-kwiat. They also have a map that shows the world is flat. Still believe that?

Sure, but how did the original cartographer in the 1500s get the mountain ranges so correctly? It’s just curious.

David, David, David, don't engage, ignore. The cartographer most likely got the mountain ranges "so correctly" from a fertile imagination. See
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piri_Reis_map

Now David, you have me playing into the hands of the flat earth, kool aide ilk. Got to ignore because logic or science makes no difference to them.

David said, “You don’t have to agree with me” a month or two ago. I’m not the one who’s being antagonistic. I’ve been polite. I just like to read David’s daily posts. I hope to go to Poland some day. I thought that I could share information that I’ve learned. That’s what people have done for me, and that’s how I got this knowledge. There’s nothing wrong with passing along knowledge.

If David truly doesn’t want me to post here anymore, I won’t. It’s his site. I just happen to like it.

Kwiat, understand that Dave is not up for reason, a good man, but brainwashed by his friends in the Democrates.. He is a a type that believes in fairies in the garden, what hope have you got to to talk sense to his this man..just agree with him and keep it cool. He published a rant on his blog against trump, Biden must be the worse president. in US history...his silent is deafening....

Good people are brainwashed. I used to be brainwashed. I saved myself. I’m only trying to help others. Still, it’s his site. All he has to do is say, “Don’t post here anymore,” and I won’t. I’m not one of the belligerent people.

Joan and David Piekarczyk said...

Anonymous, because we disagree, post whenever you want. You don't know me, so your brainwashed statement holds no water. Biden is the worst President in history to true trumpers. You're not trying to hhelp other, you only want them to think like you. Yes, I did publish many rants against trump. On whose watch did 600,000 Americans die from Covid?Who turned their back on the Kurdish allies?

Kwiat, I am happy you like my blog. Let me know when you come to Poland so we can meet. Do you have relatives here? I would not write, Don't post here anymore.

Never say never. I might post something questioning a liberal issue, and you might hate me all over again. I don’t have relatives there (that I know of), but I’m 3rd generation Polish American and I love the culture. It was a recipe that first brought me here. I can’t remember which one now, but I was doing a search on Polish recipes, and this came up.

I hope you look into the diatomaceous Earth that I recommended. At least do a search on it. Read the medical miracle stories about it. Be sure to use FOOD GRADE, start slowly (1/2 tsp and work up to 3 TBSP), and drink lots of water. Take it at least 2 hours away from other medications because it’ll clear them out.

Another detail that I found out about it is that it naturally has a negative charge while bad bacteria is positively charged. That’s how it clears out bad bacteria and viruses.
