Impatience.

One negative attribute I have is impatience. I know it and try fighting it. Sometimes it comes back to me in the form of what I should have done. The case today was seeing a flat, 65m2, with 3 rooms and an elevator. Of course, we have signed a different lease and there is no going back. The price was even 200 PLN cheaper. Oh well, life goes on.

Our friend Radek was here and discussing our move it seems it will put an end to our weekly meetings. I am really going to miss the time we have spent together. He is a kindred person and we always have many things to talk about. not to mention, the great job he has done advancing my Spanish language.

Today I stripped the covers off our dining room chairs and took a chance on washing them. They had 10 years of dirt and it was time to do something about it. I am happy to tell you they look like new now. The next project is to change the covers on our two recliners. I ordered the new ones and they will be here in 3 days. I want to do it before we move. I am impatient when something needs to be done.

Jedną z negatywnych cech, które posiadam jest niecierpliwość. Wiem o tym i staram się z tym walczyć. Czasami wraca do mnie w postaci tego, co powinienem był zrobić. Takim przypadkiem było dzisiaj oglądanie mieszkania, 65m2, z 3 pokojami i windą. Oczywiście podpisaliśmy inną umowę najmu i nie ma już odwrotu. Cena była nawet o 200 zł niższa. No cóż, życie toczy się dalej.

Nasz przyjaciel Radek był u nas i rozmawiając o naszej przeprowadzce, wygląda na to, że to koniec naszych cotygodniowych spotkań. Naprawdę będzie mi brakowało czasu, który spędziliśmy razem. Jest bardzo miły i zawsze mamy wiele tematów do rozmowy. Nie wspominając już o świetnej pracy, jaką wykonał, aby poprawić mój hiszpański.

Dzisiaj zdjąłem pokrowce z naszych krzeseł w jadalni i zaryzykowałem ich wypranie. Miały 10 lat brudu na sobie i nadszedł czas, aby coś z tym zrobić. Cieszę się, że mogę Wam powiedzieć, że wyglądają teraz jak nowe. Następnym krokiem jest zmiana pokrowców na naszych dwóch leżankach. Zamówiłem nowe i będą tutaj za 3 dni. Chcę to zrobić zanim się przeprowadzimy. Jestem niecierpliwy, kiedy coś musi być zrobione.

El caso de hoy ha sido ver un piso, de 65m2, con 3 habitaciones y ascensor. Por supuesto, hemos firmado otro contrato de alquiler y no hay vuelta atrás. El precio era incluso 200 PLN más barato. Oh, bueno, la vida sigue.

Nuestro amigo Radek estuvo aquí y al hablar de nuestra mudanza parece que pondrá fin a nuestras reuniones semanales. Realmente voy a echar de menos el tiempo que hemos pasado juntos. Es una persona afín y siempre tenemos muchas cosas de las que hablar, por no mencionar el gran trabajo que ha hecho para avanzar en mi idioma español.

Hoy he quitado las fundas de nuestras sillas del comedor y me he arriesgado a lavarlas. Tenían 10 años de suciedad y era hora de hacer algo al respecto. Estoy feliz de decirles que ahora se ven como nuevas. El siguiente proyecto es cambiar las fundas de nuestros dos sillones reclinables. Ordené las nuevas y estarán aquí en 3 días. Quiero hacerlo antes de que nos mudemos. Soy impaciente cuando hay que hacer algo.
