Deadline

Sometimes time slips away and before I know it, I miss the daily deadline for writing this blog, hence this short post before the deadline but the next sentence is written after midnight. 

Joan and I spent the first few hours of the morning watching reruns of yesterday's NFL football games. Of course, our interest is with the Chicago Bears but also with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I call them the "Brady Bunch". I thought it was a HUGE mistake for the New England Patriots to release him because of age. He won 6 Super Bowls for them and was still a very good quarterback. In his first year with "The Brady Bunch", he won his 7th Super Bowl ring. Watching him play the last 2 weeks, he looks even better, if that's possible than last year. I wonder how the owner of the Patriots feels now about letting him go?

In the afternoon I had to order a few things online and had a lot of trouble paying on the RTV/AGD website. It took 3 hours and several phone calls before the problem was resolved. I dislike it when that happens.

Finally, about 17:30(5:30 PM) i  was able to start dinner, cheeseburgers with salad. I had 6 of them already, prepared with the meat from Bistry a few days ago, so all I had today was to fry them and make the salad. I wasn't in a mood to make a more extensive meal last night.

Pierwsze kilka godzin poranka spędziliśmy z Joanną na oglądaniu powtórek wczorajszych meczów futbolowych NFL. Oczywiście naszym zainteresowaniem cieszą się Chicago Bears, ale także Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Nazywam ich "Brady Bunch". Uważam, że to był WIELKI błąd, że New England Patriots zwolnili go z powodu wieku. Wygrał dla nich 6 Super Bowls i wciąż był bardzo dobrym rozgrywającym. W swoim pierwszym roku z "The Brady Bunch", zdobył swój 7 pierścień Super Bowl. Oglądając jego grę w ostatnich 2 tygodniach, wygląda jeszcze lepiej, jeśli to w ogóle możliwe, niż w zeszłym roku. Ciekawe jak teraz czuje się właściciel Patriots, że pozwolił mu odejść?

Po południu musiałem zamówić kilka rzeczy online i miałem spore problemy z płatnością na stronie RTV/AGD. Minęły 3 godziny i kilka rozmów telefonicznych zanim problem został rozwiązany. Nie lubię, gdy tak się dzieje.

W końcu, około 17:30 (5:30 PM) byłem w stanie rozpocząć obiad, cheeseburgery z sałatką. Miałem ich już 6, przygotowanych z mięsa z Bistry kilka dni temu, więc wszystko co miałem dzisiaj do zrobienia to usmażenie ich i zrobienie sałatki. Wczoraj nie miałam ochoty na bardziej rozbudowany posiłek. powidło.

Joan y yo hemos pasado las primeras horas de la mañana viendo las repeticiones de los partidos de fútbol americano de la NFL de ayer. Por supuesto, nuestro interés está en los Chicago Bears pero también en los Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Los llamo la "pandilla Brady". Creo que fue un GRAN error que los New England Patriots lo dejaran ir por la edad. Ganó 6 Super Bowls para ellos y seguía siendo un muy buen quarterback. En su primer año con "La pandilla Brady", ganó su séptimo anillo de Super Bowl. Viéndolo jugar las últimas 2 semanas, se ve aún mejor, si eso es posible que el año pasado. Por la tarde tuve que pedir algunas cosas por internet y tuve muchos problemas para pagar en la web de RTV/AGD. Me llevó 3 horas y varias llamadas telefónicas antes de que se resolviera el problema. No me gusta cuando ocurre eso.

Finalmente, sobre las 17:30 (17:30) pude empezar a cenar, hamburguesas con queso y ensalada. Ya tenía 6 de ellas, preparadas con la carne de Bistry hace unos días, así que lo único que tenía hoy era freírlas y hacer la ensalada. Anoche no tenía ganas de hacer una comida más extensa. covid.
