Opposition.

We watched President Biden's January 6th speech. It might be worthy of a "rant" on tomorrow's blog. I agree with what he said and am very tired of the "opposition" to democracy.

However, we did have sunshine today so I don't want to spoil the mood of the day. Amazing how that little red ball in the sky can affect someone so much. It actually lasted until it got dark.

I did the food shopping today, 167 PLN($41) I don't understand why Carrefour doesn't have the store restocked from the night before. Too many times I have been there when it opens and there is a scarity of vegetables on the shelves. On the contrary, Lidl opens at 6:00 and every shelf is full, hence my having to shop at 2 stores. It's only 1 km between the stores so it is easy to get there.

Yesterday, Andrea came over with his replacement, a young woman named Adas. Next week will be his last time and then he is returning to Italy for work.

Obejrzeliśmy przemówienie prezydenta Bidena z 6 stycznia. Być może będzie ono warte "ponarzekania" na jutrzejszym blogu. Zgadzam się z tym, co powiedział i jestem bardzo zmęczony "sprzeciwem" wobec demokracji. 

Dzisiaj świeciło słońce, więc nie chcę psuć nastroju dnia. Niesamowite, jak ta mała czerwona kulka na niebie może tak na kogoś wpłynąć. W zasadzie było na niebie aż do momentu, gdy zrobiło się ciemno. 

Dziś zrobiłem zakupy spożywcze za 167 PLN (41$). Nie rozumiem, dlaczego Carrefour nie  uzupełnia towarów wykupionych poprzedniego wieczoru. Zbyt wiele razy tam  byłem zaraz po otwarciu, a na półkach jest deficyt warzyw. Natomiast Lidl jest otwierany o 6:00 i każda półka jest pełna, stąd konieczność robienia zakupów w dwóch sklepach. Między sklepami jest tylko 1 km, więc łatwo się tam dostać. 

Wczoraj przyjechał Andrea ze swoją zmienniczką, młodą kobietą o imieniu Adas.  W przyszłym tygodniu będzie  ostatni raz, a potem wraca do Włoch do pracy.

Hemos visto el discurso del presidente Biden del 6 de enero. Podría ser digno de un "despotrique" en el blog de mañana. Estoy de acuerdo con lo que dijo y estoy muy cansado de la "oposición" a la democracia.

Sin embargo, hoy hemos tenido sol, así que no quiero estropear el ambiente del día. Es increíble cómo esa pequeña bola roja en el cielo puede afectar tanto a alguien. De hecho duró hasta que oscureció.

Hoy hice la compra de alimentos, 167 PLN($41) No entiendo por qué Carrefour no tiene la tienda reabastecida desde la noche anterior. Demasiadas veces he ido cuando abre y hay escasez de verduras en las estanterías. Por el contrario, Lidl abre a las 6:00 y todas las estanterías están llenas, de ahí que tenga que comprar en 2 tiendas. Sólo hay 1 km entre las tiendas, así que es fácil llegar.

Ayer, Andrea vino con su sustituta, una joven llamada Adas. La semana que viene será su última vez y luego vuelve a Italia por trabajo.
