Using the new cookbook, I prepared bananas, rolled oats, cocoa, soy milk, and poppyseed for our breakfast this morning. I put it all into one pot, turned on the stove, and waited for it to heat up. It didn't.
I could hear the sounds of a pot heating but still, it remained cold. Finally, I realized I turned on the element under the tea kettle and it was heating up with no water in it. I corrected my mistake and the food began to warm. 15 minutes later breakfast was ready and we enjoyed this new recipe.
The latest news from Ukraine yesterday was Kyiv called on Russia to pull back military forces amassed on its borders. There is no reply. I am doubtful that Russia will do that.
Dziś rano, używając nowej książki kucharskiej, przygotowałem banany, płatki owsiane, kakao, mleko sojowe i mak na nasze śniadanie. Wrzuciłem wszystko do jednego garnka, włączyłem kuchenkę i czekałem, aż się podgrzeje. Nic się nie zadziało.
Słyszałem odgłosy podgrzewania garnka, ale nadal pozostawał zimny. W końcu zdałem sobie sprawę, że włączyłem element pod czajnikiem z herbatą, a on się nagrzewał bez wody. Naprawiłem swój błąd i jedzenie zaczęło się grzać. 15 minut później śniadanie było gotowe, a my cieszyliśmy się nowym przepisem.
Najnowsze wiadomości z Ukrainy, to to, że wczoraj Kijów wezwał Rosję do wycofania sił wojskowych zgromadzonych przy swoich granicach. Nie ma odpowiedzi. Wątpię, że Rosja to zrobi.
Utilizando el nuevo libro de cocina, preparé plátanos, copos de avena, cacao, leche de soja y semillas de amapola para nuestro desayuno de esta mañana. Lo puse todo en una olla, encendí el fuego y esperé a que se calentara. No se calentó.
Podía oír el sonido de la olla calentándose, pero seguía estando fría. Finalmente, me di cuenta de que había encendido el elemento debajo de la tetera y que se estaba calentando sin agua. Las últimas noticias de Ucrania ayer fueron que Kiev pidió a Rusia que retirara las fuerzas militares acumuladas en sus fronteras. No hay respuesta. Dudo que Rusia lo haga.
