 Poland will hand over MIG-29 fighter jets to the USA. 

A statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland has appeared in connection with the US Secretary of State's statement on the transfer of aircraft to Ukraine.

"The authorities of the Republic of Poland, following consultations with the President and the Government of the Republic of Poland, are ready to move all their MIG-29 aircraft to the base in Ramstein immediately and free of charge and place them at the disposal of the Government of the United States of America," reads the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the same time, Poland requests the United States of America to provide it with used aircraft of equivalent operational capability. Poland is ready to immediately establish conditions for the purchase of these aircraft," the MFA added.

The Polish government also asked all NATO countries which possess MIG-29 aircraft to decide on a similar action.

The reasoning is that Ukrainian pilots are familiar with the operation of the Mig-29 but not the more modern F-16.

Polska przekaże USA odrzutowce myśliwskie MIG-29. 

W związku z oświadczeniem Sekretarza Stanu USA w sprawie przekazania samolotów na Ukrainę pojawiło się oświadczenie Ministra Spraw Zagranicznych RP. 

"Władze Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej, po konsultacjach z Prezydentem i Rządem Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej, są gotowe niezwłocznie i nieodpłatnie przenieść wszystkie swoje samoloty MIG-29 do bazy w Ramstein i przekazać je do dyspozycji Rządu Stanów Zjednoczonych Ameryki" - czytamy w oświadczeniu MSZ. 

Jednocześnie Polska zwraca się do Stanów Zjednoczonych Ameryki o dostarczenie używanych samolotów o równoważnych zdolnościach operacyjnych. Polska jest gotowa do natychmiastowego ustalenia warunków zakupu tych samolotów" - dodaje MSZ. 

Polski rząd zwrócił się również do wszystkich krajów NATO, które posiadają samoloty MIG-29, o podjęcie decyzji o podobnym działaniu.

Argumentuje się to tym, że ukraińscy piloci znają obsługę Mig-29, ale nie nowocześniejszych F-16.

Polonia entregará aviones de combate MIG-29 a los Estados Unidos. Hay una declaración

Ha aparecido una declaración del Ministro de Asuntos Exteriores de la República de Polonia en relación con la declaración del Secretario de Estado de EE.UU. sobre la transferencia de aviones a Ucrania.

Las autoridades de la República de Polonia, tras consultar con el Presidente y el Gobierno de la República de Polonia, están dispuestas a trasladar todos sus aviones MIG-29 a la base de Ramstein de forma inmediata y gratuita y ponerlos a disposición del Gobierno de los Estados Unidos de América", reza la declaración del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores.

Al mismo tiempo, Polonia solicita a los Estados Unidos de América que le proporcionen aviones usados de capacidad operativa equivalente. Polonia está dispuesta a establecer inmediatamente las condiciones para la compra de estos aviones", añade el MAE.

El gobierno polaco también pidió a todos los países de la OTAN que poseen aviones MIG-29 que decidan una acción similar.

Según el MAE, la parte estadounidense no oculta que quiere devolver los cazas a Ucrania.
