New doc. + Ukraine

Today we met with the new neurologist. He examined Joan and said, physically. she is able to walk and maybe her problem is psychological. I think he may be correct. Holding on to her, he was able to walk up and back the corridor outside his office. He is also changing the seizure medication for the one he thinks will be able to stop them. I hope he is right. He added it to the medication she takes now and when the new one reaches the level he wants, I will slowly take her off the previous one. That makes sense for me.

I did the weekly shopping and spent 180 PLN($42). The dollar has been strong for the last week. $1=4.3 PLN. That is the highest it has been in 15 years.

BORODYANKA/LVIV, Ukraine, March 3 (Reuters) - Russia and Ukraine have agreed on the need to set up humanitarian corridors and a possible ceasefire around them for fleeing civilians, both sides said after talks on Thursday, in their first sign of progress on any issue since the invasion.

But while Russian negotiator Vladimir Medinsky said the talks had made "substantial progress," Russian invasion forces surrounded and bombarded Ukrainian cities as the conflict entered its second week.

Ukrainian soldiers and civilians kept up their resistance to the Russian onslaught, and the capital Kyiv and other main cities remained in their hands-on Thursday evening.

Civilians who stayed were enduring shelling and rockets strikes on several cities, often on residential areas. Swathes of Kharkiv, Ukraine's second city with 1.5 million people, have been blasted into rubble.

Dziś spotkaliśmy się z nowym neurologiem. Zbadał Joan i powiedział, że fizycznie jest w stanie chodzić, a jej problem może mieć podłoże psychiczne. Myślę, że może mieć rację. Zrobiłem cotygodniowe zakupy i wydałem 180 zł (42 USD). Dolar był mocny przez ostatni tydzień. 1$=4,3 ZŁ. Jest to najwyższy kurs od 15 lat. 

BORODYANKA/LWÓW, Ukraina, 3 marca (Reuters) - Rosja i Ukraina zgodziły się co do potrzeby utworzenia korytarzy humanitarnych i ewentualnego zawieszenia broni wokół nich dla uciekającej ludności cywilnej, jak podały obie strony po rozmowach w czwartek, jako  pierwszej oznaki postępu w jakiejkolwiek kwestii od czasu inwazji. 

Podczas gdy rosyjski negocjator Władimir Medyński powiedział, że rozmowy przyniosły "znaczący postęp", rosyjskie siły inwazyjne otoczyły i zbombardowały ukraińskie miasta, a konflikt w drugi tydzień. 

Ukraińscy żołnierze i cywile stawiali opór rosyjskiej napaści, a stolica Kijów i inne główne miasta pozostały w  rękach obrońców w czwartek wieczorem. 

Cywile, którzy pozostali, wytrzymali ostrzał i ataki rakietowe na kilka miast, często na dzielnice mieszkalne. Charków, drugie miasto Ukrainy zamieszkane przez 1,5 miliona ludzi jest w gruzach.

Lo ha añadido a la medicación que toma ahora y cuando la nueva alcance el nivel que él quiere, le quitaré poco a poco la anterior. Eso tiene sentido para mí.

BORODYANKA/LVIV, Ucrania, 3 de marzo (Reuters) - Rusia y Ucrania han acordado la necesidad de establecer corredores humanitarios y un posible alto el fuego en torno a ellos para los civiles que huyen, dijeron ambas partes después de las conversaciones del jueves, en su primera señal de progreso en cualquier tema desde la invasión.

Sin embargo, mientras el negociador ruso Vladimir Medinsky afirmaba que las conversaciones habían logrado "avances sustanciales", las fuerzas de invasión rusas rodearon y bombardearon ciudades ucranianas cuando el conflicto entró en su segunda semana.

Los soldados y civiles ucranianos mantuvieron su resistencia a la embestida rusa, y la capital, Kiev, y otras ciudades principales permanecieron en sus manos el jueves por la noche.
