Missile attack.

Sorry, I just completely blanked out writing my blog this past weekend. It's never happened before. 1 day, yes, but 2 days in a row, no. With cataract surgery in the very near future, prediabetes, caring for Joan, and the recent missile attack 25 km from our border, Both eyes will be operated on the same day with only a break to get clean instruments for the second operation. I will stay 3 days in the hospital. Because of my tremors, I will be completely anesthetized. As soon as I have the date, I will make arrangements to have Joan stay in a senior residence house for two weeks. I guess I just had too much on my mind over the weekend.

Of course, the biggest news yesterday was the Russian missile attack in Ukraine just 25 km from the Polish border.

LVIV, Ukraine, March 13 (Reuters) - A barrage of Russian missiles hit a large Ukrainian base near the border with NATO member Poland on Sunday, killing 35 people and wounding 134, a local official said, in an escalation of the war to the west of the country as fighting raged elsewhere.

Russia's defense ministry said the airstrike had destroyed a large number of weapons supplied by foreign nations that were being stored at the sprawling training facility, and that it had killed "up to 180 foreign mercenaries".

Reuters could not independently verify the casualties reported by either side.

We are getting one step closer to what would be a disaster for the world. 

Przepraszam, ale w miniony weekend zupełnie przestałem pisać bloga. Nigdy wcześniej mi się to nie zdarzyło. Jeden dzień tak, ale dwa dni z rzędu nie. Ze względu na zbliżającą się operację zaćmy, cukrzycę, opiekę nad Joan i niedawny atak rakietowy 25 km od naszej granicy. Oboje oczu będzie operowanych tego samego dnia, z przerwą tylko na pobranie czystych narzędzi do drugiej operacji. W szpitalu zostanę 3 dni. Ze względu na moje drżenia będę całkowicie znieczulony. Jak tylko ustalę datę, zorganizuję pobyt Joan w domu seniora przez dwa tygodnie. W weekend miałem chyba zbyt wiele na głowie.
