After getting cleared to drive Saturday morning, I departed for Joan and arrived at a title after 11:00. Joan was surprised to see me. She forgot that yesterday I would be there on Saturday.
I put Joan in the car and took a little drive to the nearby town, Nowy Tomysl. It is not very big, not as small as a village but not as big as a city. I was hoping to find a room in a hotel to spend the night and see Joan again on Sunday. It had only 1 hotel but all rooms were taken. There was no rynek but it did have a pedestrian walkway with different types of stores on both sides. We found what was called a traditional Italian restaurant and decided to have naslesniki(pancakes). I thought they would be in the "crepe" style so I ordered 3 for each of us. To my surprise when they arrived, they were not crepes but very thick pancakes. I knew it would be more than we could eat but we did our best.
After breakfast, we went across the street to view the inside of the church and take some pictures for you. It was only 4 PM so we went next to the small town of Pniewy and there I found a room in a hotel next to the BP gas station. They also had a restaurant and we stayed long enough to have Pork cutlets and salads.
Driving in the area it was possible to see many fields of the beautiful Rzepac plant in its brilliant yellow color. Pictures are on the right side of the blog.
Returning Joan to Dom Seniora, I asked about her evening medicines. The health worker said he had NO instructions to give her any. I was FURIOUS. I told him to show me where all her medicine boxes were. From the basket they were in, I took about what was needed and gave them to Joan
This morning, I returned early and brought Joan back home for the day. I will care for her today and make sure she gets all of her meds. Tonight, I will take her back late and tomorrow call the director and ask why there were no instructions for meds.
Po uzyskaniu zgody na jazdę samochodem, w sobotę rano wyruszyłem do Joan i dotarłem na miejsce po 11:00. Joan była zaskoczona, gdy mnie zobaczyła. Od wczoraj zapomniała, że będę tam w sobotę.
Wsadziłem Joan do samochodu i pojechaliśmy na małą przejażdżkę do pobliskiego Nowego Tomyśla. Miasto nie jest zbyt duże, nie tak małe jak wieś, ale też nie tak duże jak miasto. Miałem nadzieję znaleźć pokój w hotelu, żeby przenocować i zobaczyć Joan w niedzielę. W mieście był tylko jeden hotel, ale wszystkie pokoje były zajęte. Nie ma tam rynku, ale był za to deptak z różnymi sklepami po obu stronach. Znaleźliśmy coś, co nazywało się tradycyjną włoską restauracją i zdecydowaliśmy się na naleśniki. Myślałem, że będą w stylu naleśników, więc zamówiłem po trzy dla każdego z nas. Ku mojemu zaskoczeniu, gdy zostały przyniesione, nie były to naleśniki, ale bardzo grube placki. Wiedziałem, że to więcej niż bylibyśmy w stanie zjeść, ale zrobiliśmy, co w naszej mocy.
Po śniadaniu poszliśmy na drugą stronę ulicy, aby obejrzeć wnętrze kościoła i zrobić kilka zdjęć. Była dopiero 16:00, więc pojechaliśmy do małego miasteczka Pniewy i tam znalazłem pokój w hotelu obok stacji benzynowej BP. Była tam też restauracja i zostaliśmy na tyle długo, że zjedliśmy kotlety schabowe i sałatki.
Jeżdżąc po okolicy, można było zobaczyć wiele pól z piękną rośliną rzepak w jej jaskrawożółtym kolorze. Zdjęcia znajdują się po prawej stronie bloga.
Wracając z Joan do Domu Seniora, zapytałem o jej wieczorne leki. Pracownik powiedział, że nie ma żadnych instrukcji, aby jej je dać. Byłem wściekły. Powiedziałem, żeby pokazał mi, gdzie są wszystkie jej pudełka z lekami. Z koszyka, w którym były, wziąłem tyle, ile było potrzebne i dałem je Joan.
Dziś rano wróciłem wcześnie fo placówki i zabrałem Joan do domu na cały dzień. Będę się nią dziś opiekował i dopilnuję, aby dostała wszystkie swoje lekarstwa. Dziś wieczorem zabiorę ją z powrotem do domu opieki, a jutro zadzwonię do dyrektora i zapytam, dlaczego nie było instrukcji dotyczących leków.
Después de recibir autorización para conducir el sábado por la mañana, partí hacia Joan y llegué a un título después de las 11:00. Joan se sorprendió al verme. Se había olvidado de que ayer estaría allí el sábado.
Metí a Joan en el coche y di un pequeño paseo hasta la ciudad cercana, Nowy Tomysl. No es muy grande, no es tan pequeño como un pueblo pero tampoco tan grande como una ciudad. Esperaba encontrar una habitación en un hotel para pasar la noche y volver a ver a Joan el domingo. Sólo había un hotel, pero todas las habitaciones estaban ocupadas. No había rynek pero sí un paseo peatonal con diferentes tipos de tiendas a ambos lados. Encontramos lo que se llama un restaurante tradicional italiano y decidimos comer naslesniki (tortitas). Pensé que serían del estilo "crepe", así que pedí 3 para cada uno. Para mi sorpresa, cuando llegaron, no eran crepes sino tortitas muy gruesas. Sabía que sería más de lo que podríamos comer pero hicimos lo que pudimos.
Después de desayunar, fuimos al otro lado de la calle para ver el interior de la iglesia y tomar algunas fotos para ti. Sólo eran las 4 de la tarde, así que fuimos al lado de la pequeña ciudad de Pniewy y allí encontré una habitación en un hotel junto a la gasolinera BP. También tenían un restaurante y nos quedamos el tiempo suficiente para comer chuletas de cerdo y ensaladas.
Conduciendo por la zona fue posible ver muchos campos de la hermosa planta Rzepac en su brillante color amarillo. Las fotos están en la parte derecha del blog.
Al volver Joan a Dom Seniora, pregunté por sus medicinas de la noche. El trabajador sanitario dijo que NO tenía instrucciones de darle ninguna. Me puse furiosa. Le dije que me enseñara dónde estaban sus cajas de medicamentos. De la cesta en la que estaban, cogí lo que necesitaba y s
Esta mañana he vuelto temprano y he traído a Juana a casa para pasar el día. Hoy le lo di a Juana.
a cuidaré y me aseguraré de que reciba todas sus medicinas. Esta noche, la llevaré de vuelta tarde y mañana llamaré al director y le preguntaré por qué no había instrucciones para las medicinas.
