We went at 10AM to the Rynek to see the celebration of this day. We arrived in time to hear a few speeches followed by a girls choir. The marching band was next and then a parade of soldiers and calvary. It lasted for about two hours. The outdoor cafes are gone now and the square looks much bigger. There is a display of pictures on exhibit from March 1919.When we returned home we watched on TV the celebration from Warsaw where president Kaczynski gave a speech about this day. In the audience were dignataries from different countries including the ambassador to Poland from the U.S., the presidents of Afghanistan, Ukraine, Georgia and chancellor Merkel from Germany.
