ZUS day

Two things had to be accomplished today, the weekly shopping and a trip to the ZUS office to fill out a new declaration.

Food shopping was easy, it takes us less than a hour. We spent 103zl($35) for food for the coming week. Joan needed extra flour because she is making two apple pies tomorrow, one for us and one for a friend who said she has never seen an apple pie. It reminds us of when we lived the Michigan. There was an abandoned farm with an orchard close to our land and it must have had at least 30 apple trees of different varieties. Being abandoned it was no problem to go there each fall and pick all of the apples we wanted. We kept them stored in the basement and apple pie baking was almost a ritual for many weeks. We also managed to put many out in front of our house to feed the wild deer.

ZUS was the other thing I had to take care of. Even though we have a contract with it, each month it is necessary to go to the office on Dąbrowskiego street to fill out a Declaration of intent to use the insurance policy. You can't just make a monthly payment without a declaration. I can understand not being able to pay by the year or even six months at a time because the price is always changing. Pricing is done on a quarterly basis and this time I was able to file declarations for the months of October, November and December. Once that was done all I have to do is transfer the money each month into their accout. The price of health insurance is unbelieveably cheaper than the U.S. I know I've written about it in other blogs so I won't go into it again.

I thought it would take me 2-3 hours to get it done but it only took 1 hour, including bus travel time. Ten minutes on the bus, a 5 minute walk to the ZUS office, 30 minutes in the office and then the return trip home. A great weather day so the walk was nice. Good to be out of the house among people again after our illness that kept us inside.

Bycie porzucony to nie był żaden problem by pójść tam każdego spadku i zerwać wszystkie z jabłek, których chcieliśmy. Utrzymaliśmy ich wprowadziliśmy do pamięci suterenę i szarlotka piekąca się była prawie rytuał przez dużo tygodni. Też poradziliśmy sobie by zwichnąć wiele przed naszym domem by nakarmić dzikiego jelenia.

ZUS był inna rzecz, którą musiałem zająć się. Nawet gdyby mamy kontrakt z tym, każdego miesiąca to jest konieczne pójść do biura na Dąbrowskiego ulicy by wypełnić Deklarację zamiaru by użyć polisy ubezpieczeniowej. Nie możesz właśnie zrobić miesięcznej zapłaty bez deklaracji. Mogę zrozumieć nie będące wypłacalny przez rok albo nawet sześć miesięcy jednocześnie ponieważ cena zawsze zmienia się. Wycenianie jest zrobione na kwartalnej podstawie i tym razem mogłem włożyć deklaracje przez miesiące października, listopada i grudnia. Raz to było zrobione wszystko, co muszę czynić jest transfer pieniądze każdego miesiąca do ich accout. Cena ubezpieczenia zdrowotnego jest unbelieveably tańszy niż Stany Zjednoczone, które znam, że napisałem o tym w innym blogs tak nie pójdę do tego znowu.

Pomyślałem, że to wzięłoby mnie godziny 2-3 by dostać to zrobiony ale to tylko zajęło 1 godzinę, włączając czas podróży autobusu. Dziesięć minut na autobusie, 5 minuty chodzi do biura ZUS , 30 minut w biurze i wtedy powrót potykają się do domu. Wspaniały meteorologiczny dzień tak spacer {chód} był miły. Dobry by być z domu pośród ludzi znowu po naszej chorobie, która trzymała nas wewnątrz.
