Walking.

Todays walk was a repeat of the day before when I didn't take my camera. There were so many beautiful flowers in the house lawns I wanted to go back and capture them for you. We started on Szamotuły street, went south to Gruńwald, crossed over it, sat in the park for a while and then went north on Przebewzewskiego street to Bukowska. There we sat down on a bench and people watched for an hour. We got back home, took out a book on Kraków and started reading up on the city. Joan and I are planning a trip there on the 15th of June. If anybody has any recommendations on places to stay, eat, things to see, we'd be happy to hear from you.

Joan i ja planują podróż tam 15. czerwca. Jeżeli ktoś ma jakiekolwiek polecenia na miejscach by pozostać, zjeść, rzeczy by zobaczyć, bylibyśmy szczęśliwi by usłyszeć od ciebie.

  1. I have stayed at the Polonia in Krakow. It is corner of the Rynek park ring near the train and bus station. If you are driving, I don't know much about parking around there. If you are going by train, it is very convenient. This is a Polish hotel with Polish style beds and good breakfast. Hope this is helpful.

  2. Hello again - something that you might be interested in - I remember one of your;s first post about living in Poland. I think for most people in Poland that article is funny in some way.

    David & Joan,
We went to Krakow several years ago and really loved seeing/visiting the salt mines in Wieliczka - really amazing things to see all in salt! If you have some time during your trip to Krakow, you should try to go and see it for yourselves!
