Mountains

We did go back to the top of the mountain behind where we are staying to take more scenic views of the country around us. It's really incredible. We've used Airbnb for 10 times now and this is the first place that knows bnb stands for bed and breakfast. All of the others furnished the bed but breakfast was totally up to us to procure for ourselves, not here. Every morning there was cereal, toast, coffee juice and a few other things also. Maybe it's because the two sisters came from England some forty years ago but still remember bnb means bed and breakfast. Whatever the reason, this is absolutely the nicest place we have used so far and would highly recommend a stay at their house if you are ever in the area.

Estepona is on the Costa Del Sol and known to any tourist who has travelled to this part of the world. Estepona is renowned for its beaches, which stretch along some 21 km of coastline. It is a popular resort and holiday destination. Due to its natural environment, surrounded by the sea and the mountains, Estepona has a micro-climate with over 325 days of sunshine per year. It's is a popular year-round holiday destination; it has two EC Blue Flag beaches, a modern sports marina with many tapas bars and restaurants and a white-walled town center with shops and picturesque squares.

Some foundations and ceramics found in the town show the area was occupied at the time of the Romans. In 1342, the Battle of Estepona took place in the Bay of Estepona between the fleet of the Kingdom of Aragon and that of the Marinid Dynasty. The name 'Estepona' probably comes from the Moors. Henry IV of Castille captured the town from the Moors in 1457, and a church was built on the site of the previous mosque. In 1729 Estepona was granted its own charter by Phillip V of Spain.

Wróciliśmy na szczyt góry, z drugiej strony której jest nasze miejsce zakwaterowania, by zrobić więcej zdjęć malowniczej scenerii roztaczającej się wokół nas. To jest naprawdę niesamowite. Skorzystaliśmy ze strony  Airbnb z 10. razy i jest to pierwsze miejsce, w którym wiadomo, co znaczy BNB -  łóżko i śniadanie. Wszystkie inne miejsca oferowały tylko nocleg, więc śniadanie było w naszej gestii. Tutaj jest inaczej. Każdego dnia rano były płatki, tosty, sok, kawa i kilka innych rzeczy. Może dlatego, że dwie siostry przyjechały z Anglii jakieś czterdzieści lat temu i wciąż pamiętają, że  BNB znaczy łóżko i śniadanie. Niezależnie od przyczyny, jest to absolutnie najpiękniejsze miejsce z jakiego korzystaliśmy do tej pory i bardzo polecam pobyt w ich domu, jeśli kiedykolwiek będziesz w okolicy.

Estepona jest na wybrzeżu Costa del Sol i jest znana każdemu turyście, który podróżował do tej części świata.
Estepona słynie z pięknych plaż, które rozciągają się wzdłuż wybrzeża na 21 kilometrów. Jest to popularny kurort i miejsce wypoczynku. Ze względu na środowisko naturalne, w otoczeniu morza i gór, Estepona ma mikroklimat z ponad 325. słonecznymi dniami  w roku. Jest to popularne, całoroczne miejsce na wakacje; ma dwie  plaże EC Blue Flag, nowoczesną marinę z wieloma barami tapas, restauracjami i centrum miasta o biało pomalowanych ścianach ze sklepami i malowniczymi placami.

Niektóre fundamenty i ceramika odnalezione w mieście wskazują ,że to miejsce zostało zasiedlone w czasach rzymskich. W 1342 r. miała miejsce Battle of Estepona, w Zatoce Estepona między flotami Królestwa Aragonii i dynastią Marinid. Nazwa "Estepona" pochodzi prawdopodobnie od Maurów. Henryk IV Kastylijski odebrał miasto  Maurom w 1457, a kościół został zbudowany na miejscu zajmowanym poprzednio przez meczet. W 1729 Estepona otrzymała  swój statut od Filipa V Hiszpańskiego.
