So begins August. Yes, officially it's still summer but we know winter is on it's way and can only hope autumn will delay it's arrival as long as possible. I used to look forward to winter with it's heavy snowfalls, quiet nights and the beauty of a white covered landscape. Now, living in the land of perpetual grayness in the winter I don't like it as much. That, plus the fact that we really haven't had much snow since we've lived here the last 8 years.

Zaczyna się sierpień. Oficjalnie jest jeszcze lato ale wiemy, że zima idzie i mogę tylko mieć nadzieję, że jesień opóźni swoje nadejście tak długo, jak to możliwe. Kiedyś czekałem na zimę z jej intensywnymi opadami śniegu, cichymi nocami i pięknem bieli krajobrazu. Teraz, mieszkając w krainie wiecznej szarości w zimie nie podoba mi się to za bardzo. To, plus fakt, że tak naprawdę nie mieliśmy dużo śniegu, odkąd  mieszkamy tutaj przez ostatnie 8 lat.
