Electricity.

Having lived without for a number of years living in the forest, it always amazes me how freaked out people get when they lose it for an hour or two. You would think the world is coming to the end.

I went to the little store across from our flat and they had no electricity. They had no lights and the cash register didn't work. They had to write down on paper everything they sold but couldn't use the weight machine to calculate costs of some products because that machine was also electric. It was daytime so the lights weren't a big problem and I'm sute electricity will be restored before too long. I guess it just reminded me the even without electricity or running water, life can still be good. Yes, I do miss living in the forest. Life was simpler and more dependent on me alone.

Poszedłem do małego sklepu po drugiej stronie naszego mieszkania i nie mieli energii elektrycznej. Nie miały światła, a kasa nie działała. Musieli pisać na papierze wszystko, co sprzedali, ale nie mogli użyć wagi do obliczania kosztów niektórych produktów, ponieważ ta maszyna była również elektryczna. To było w ciągu dnia, więc światła nie były dużym problemem, a ja jestem energia elektryczna zostanie przywrócona zbyt długo. Myślę, że to przypomniało mi nawet bez elektryczności lub bieżącej wody, życie może być dobre. Tak, tęsknię za mną w lesie. Życie było prostsze i bardziej zależało od mnie.
