Today we said no church visits. e started at the Ethnological Museum after breakfast in restaurant that had the worse service ever. I ordered scrambled eggs with sausage and the waiter brought me an omelet with fruit. I refused it, reiterated my order and next he brought me scrambled eggs with a croissant. I told him that was also wrong. He looked at what he had written down and it said croissant but I told him that is not what I said. Angry, he took it away and 20 minutes later, after 20 HAD ALREAY PASSED, HE BROUGHT THE RIGHT THING. However, Joan ordered oatmeal and he didn't bring any milk. I asked him for it and by the time she has finished eating he had still not brought it. I don't know the Ukraine name of the restaurant but I labelled a picture of it in the pictures so if you go there, avoid this place.
From the Etno museum we went to the Lviv Historical Museum at 2 Rynok Square. It use to be the Bandinelli Palace. It has bas-relief dolphins carved on the front of it which supposedly protected the owner from all kind of danger.
Next was the Kornyaki Palace at 6 Rynok Square which later became the residence of King Jan Sobieski. It has a nice Italian style courtyard where you can have coffee. On the second floor are the Royal Hall wit many examples of beautifully crafted furniture and parquet floors. That was the most interesting for us,
When we were done we walked to the place where the Jewish synagogue once stood until totally destroyed by those monsters, the Nazi's. And yet today we have Neo-Nazi's. What is wrong with this human race?
