My friend, Marcin, called today and said they have 1 vaccination spot available for March 19th at 12:30 in the International fair building. He signed me up for the shot because I am the one going outside and exposed to other people. He said he would check again to see if another spot taken has maybe a cancellation. That is how my spot became available. I wonder which company will be the manufacturer of the vaccine? I know it won't be AstraZeneca because Poland has refused to use its vaccine. It may change now if it is true that their vaccine has a lower rate of being reinfected.
Shopping day I was up early as usual and in the market by 07:00. It only took me 45 minutes to spend 175 PLN($47) for the week of food.
More good news, our friend, Radek, has arranged for a plumber/electrician who will come to our flat and fix the problem with the kitchen sink and exhaust fan. You don't know how hard it is to find service people who are reliable here in Poland. Since the "Great Immigration" several years ago, Poland has lost a lot of good people in many professions. Mój przyjaciel, Marcin, zadzwonił dzisiaj i powiedział, że mają jedno wolne miejsce na szczepienie na 19 marca o 12:30 w budynku targów międzynarodowych. Zapisał mnie na ten strzał, bo to ja wychodzę na zewnątrz i jestem narażony na kontakt z innymi ludźmi. Powiedział, że sprawdzi ponownie, czy inne miejsce podjęte ma może anulowanie. W ten sposób moje miejsce stało się dostępne. Zastanawiam się, która firma będzie producentem szczepionki? Wiem, że nie będzie to AstraZeneca, ponieważ Polska odmówiła użycia jej szczepionki. Może to się teraz zmieni, jeśli okaże się, że ich szczepionka ma niższy wskaźnik ponownego zarażenia.

Więcej dobrych wiadomości, nasz przyjaciel, Radek, zorganizował hydraulika/elektryka, który przyjdzie do naszego mieszkania i naprawi problem z kuchennym zlewem i wentylatorem wyciągowym. Nawet nie wiecie jak ciężko jest znaleźć w Polsce rzetelnych ludzi od usług. Od czasu "Wielkiej Emigracji" kilka lat temu, Polska straciła wielu dobrych ludzi w wielu zawodach. Pokaż mi pieniądze - to jest nazwa gry.
Nie mogę zakończyć nie dziękując Ci, Anno, za pięknie ręcznie wykonaną kartkę świąteczną. Wysłałaś ją pocztą lotniczą 10 grudnia, a ja właśnie dziś ją otrzymałem. Zwykle nie zapisuję kartek, ale Twoje byłyby dziełami sztuki w przemyśle kartkowym. Może powinnaś założyć swój własny internetowy biznes kartkowy.

Me ha apuntado a la vacuna porque soy yo el que va a salir y se expone a otras personas. Me dijo que volvería a comprobar si había otra plaza ocupada y que tal vez se había cancelado. Así es como mi lugar quedó disponible. Me pregunto qué empresa será la fabricante de la vacuna. Sé que no será AstraZeneca porque Polonia se ha negado a utilizar su vacuna. Puede que esto cambie ahora si es cierto que su vacuna tiene un menor índice de reinfección.

Más buenas noticias, nuestro amigo, Radek, ha conseguido un fontanero/electricista que vendrá a nuestro piso y arreglará el problema del fregadero de la cocina y del extractor. No sabes lo difícil que es encontrar gente de servicio que sea fiable aquí en Polonia. Desde la "Gran Inmigración" de hace varios años, Polonia ha perdido mucha gente buena en muchas profesiones. No puedo terminar sin agradecerte, Anna, la hermosa tarjeta de Navidad hecha a mano. La enviaste por correo aéreo el 10 de diciembre y la he recibido hoy. No suelo guardar tarjetas, pero las tuyas serían obras de arte en la industria de las tarjetas. Tal vez deberías montar tu propio negocio de tarjetas por Internet.
