Poland started vaccinating against Covid-19 on December 27th, 2020. Now, it is almost 2 months since then and only 2.3% of the population is vaccinated. Joan is still waiting. Healthcare workers were the first group vaccinated and then it was supposed to be the elderly. Obviously, they haven't finished with the elderly. At this rate, it is going to take a long time. The problem is the delivery to Poland of the vaccine. Yesterday, there were 7,040 new, confirmed cases. 94 people died.
Today was a tough day for Joan's memory and orientation. She kept wanting to go to work and, again, thought we were still working and living in the Chicago area. It's difficult to deal with this. I'm helpless.
Polska rozpoczęła szczepienia przeciwko Covid-19 27 grudnia 2020 r. Od tego czasu minęły już prawie 2 miesiące i szczepionych jest tylko 2,3% populacji. Joan wciąż czeka. Jako pierwszą zaszczepiono pracowników służby zdrowia, a następnie miały to być osoby starsze. Oczywiście nie skończyli z osobami starszymi. W tym tempie zajmie to dużo czasu. Problemem jest dostawa szczepionki do Polski. Wczoraj było 7040 nowych, potwierdzonych przypadków. 94 osoby zginęły.
Dzisiejszy dzień był trudny dla pamięci i orientacji Joanny. Chciała iść do pracy i znowu myślała, że nadal pracujemy i mieszkamy w Chicago. Trudno sobie z tym poradzić. Jestem bezradny.
