Galeria Malta

Gorgeous day outside so we went there. First stop was the rynek, of course, where we sat for an hour sipping cold coffee and watching people. From there we decided to go see Galeria Malta. It is the latest shopping mall opened in Poznań, right across from Malta lake.

The Galeria is equal to any large mall in the United States. It is huge in size, has more kinds of stores than you can imagine and more American fast food places than anywhere in one location. Frankly, I'm amazed there are so many. The latest chain to be in Poland is TGIF Friday.

There was some kind of promotion going on in one part of the mall of wedding gowns and a lot of girls were dressed in them. One in particular caught our eye because of the hat she was wearing. Joan and I both really liked it, hence all the pictures of it. When the event was over and the girls were leaving Joan said she was surprised I didn't walk over to the girl and ask if I could take more pictures of her and the hat. As the girl was going up the escalator to the next floor she saw me aiming my camera at her and gave me a nice smile. That was nice.

Like I said, the mall is situated directly across from the lake and a nice walking bridge is built over the road so you can walk to the lake from the mall. The bridges here intrigue me, suspension bridges with one central column that holds the cables to the bridge. I've seen many others like this in different cities.

After we walked all around the mall and outside of it we walked to the other side of the lake, at the corner where rondo Sroda is because I wanted to take pictures of the flowers there. I really like the pink roses and some shots came out good.

People were sitting on benches everywhere so I took some face pictures. Unfortunately not one of them had a smile on their face, not an uncommon occurence here.

Wspaniały dzień na zewnątrz tak poszliśmy tam. Pierwsze zatrzymanie było rynek, oczywiście, gdzie usiedliśmy dla godziny popijającej zimną kawę i oczekujących ludzi. Stamtąd zdecydowaliśmy się pójść widzimy Galeria Maltę. To jest ostatnie centrum handlowe otwarte w Poznań, w prawo w poprzek od jeziora Malty.
Galeria jest równy do jakiejkolwiek wielkiej strefy dla pieszych w Stanach Zjednoczonych. To jest ogromne w rozmiarze, ma więcej rodzajów sklepów niż możesz wyobrazić sobie i bardziej amerykańskie miejsca fast food niż gdziekolwiek w jednej lokalizacji. Szczerze, jestem zdumiony tam są tak wiele. Ostatni łańcuch by być w Polsce jest TGIF piątek.

Tam trochę rodzaju promowania szedł na w jednej części strefy dla pieszych sukni ślubnych i dużo dziewczyn były ubrane w nich. Jeden w szczególności złapał nasze oko z powodu kapelusza, który ona nosiła. Joan i ja oboje naprawdę polubiony to, stąd wszystko obrazy tego. Kiedy zdarzenie było wszędzie i dziewczyny zostawiały Joan powiedziała, że ona jest zaskoczona nie wygrałem walkowerem do dziewczyny i poprosiłem czy mógłbym zrobić więcej zdjęć jej i kapelusza.

Jak powiedziałem, strefa dla pieszych jest umieszczona bezpośrednio w poprzek od jeziora i miły chodzący most jest zbudowany ponad drogą tak możesz chodzić do jeziora od strefy dla pieszych. Mosty tutaj intrygują mnie, mosty wiszące z jedną centralną kolumną, która trzyma kable do mostu. Zobaczyłem dużo innych w ten sposób w różnych miastach.

Gdy chodziliśmy wszystko dookoła strefy dla pieszych i na zewnątrz tego chodziliśmy do innej strony jeziora, na rogu gdzie ronda Sroda jest ponieważ chciałem zrobić zdjęcia kwiatów tam. Naprawdę lubię różowe róże i kilka strzał wyszły dobry.

Ludzie siedzieli na ławach wszędzie tak zrobiłem kilka zdjęć twarzy. Niestety nie jeden z nich miał uśmiech na ich twarzy, nie niezwykły ocurrence tutaj.
