Students.

You're probably tired of hearing this but yet another beautiful weather day in Poznań.

We spent the morning cleaning, dusting, vacuming, laundry and then in the afternoon went to the rynek. The place was full of people, so unlike yesterday. Most likely it was caused by the influx of students coming back to Poznań to start the next school year. What a difference a day makes! Yesterday it was empty and today it is full. Good for the Poznań economy though, with the return of the students.

I had an email from cousin Mary Ann Bergevin who told me that looking through stuff in her mother's house she found a box of assorted pictures, many from Poland in the 1960's. There were quite a few pictures of Sister Illuminata. She didn't know how she was related to her so I replied, told her and asked her to scan the pictures and send them to me. It is always exciting to know there are more pictures out there that I don't have.

She also found a memo book of her grandfather's, Joseph Rajewski. He named the brothers and sisters of Stanislaw Rajewski, our great-great grandfather. Some of this information he wrote when he was 97 years old.

Joan told me that our bedroom looks a little bare compared to our other rooms and so we decided to enlarge some of the pictures I have taken and hang them up in the bedroom. I selected a few and she made the final decision on the ones above.

Spędziliśmy ranek czyszczący, zakurząc, vacumming i pralnia i wtedy po południu poszliśmy do rynek. Miejsce było pełne ludzi, tak niepodobne wczoraj. Najbardziej prawdopodobnie to było spowodowane przez przypływ studentów wracających do Poznań by zacząć następny rok szkolny. Jaka różnica dzień robi! Wczoraj to było puste i dzisiaj to jest pełne. Dobry dla ekonomii Poznań chociaż z powrotem studentów.

Miałem email od kuzyna Mary Ann Bergevin, która powiedziała mi, które przeglądające rzeczy w domu jej matki ona znalazła pudełko dobranych zdjęć, wielu z Polski w 1960. Tam byli całkiem kilka zdjęć Bliźniaczego Illuminata. Ona nie zrobiła doświadczenie ona była związana do niej tak odpowiedziałem, powiedziałem jej i poprosiłem, żeby ona przejrzała obrazy i wysłać ich do mnie. To zawsze ekscytuje wiedzieć tam są więcej zdjęć poza tam, że nie mam.

Ona też znalazła książkę mema jej dziadka, Josepha Rajewski. On nazwał braci i siostry Stanislaw Rajewski, naszego wielkiego wielkiego dziadka. Trochę z tej informacji, którą on napisał kiedy on miał 97 lat.
Joan powiedziała mi, że nasza sypialnia wygląda na trochę nagiego porównanego z naszym inne pokoje i tak zdecydowaliśmy się powiększyć kilka z obrazów wziąłem i zawieszam ich w sypialni. Wybrałem kilka i ona zrobiła decyzję definitywną na jednych powyżej.
