Sunny and cloudy.

Sunny and cloudy off and on this Saturday so a trip to the rynek during the sunny part and then back home in time for Joan to bake another apple pie. That load of apples we received a week or so ago have gone to a good use and we've had steady apple pies since then. I wonder how many kilos we've put on in the last week and a half? :-)

Now Joan is busy preparing dinner, a rather unusual one. It's a combination of chicken, carrots, peas, cream, parmesan cheese, onions and milk that she warms up like a soup but then we have mashed potatoes that go into the bowl first and are surrounded by the combination of things. I like it. It's very tasty and filling and there is enough made the first time to last for two days.  It's called chicken stew in her recipe book.  I'm working on my homework, translating two paragraphs from English to Polish and then I have to memorize two paragraphs from what I translated last week.

Read a little more today about Vienna and a friend is going to give us a guide book from when she was there. I think it's going to be an interesting trip, especially since autumn seems to be approaching rather quickly so maybe the trees will have changed colors some by then.

Teraz jest zajęty Joan przygotowuje obiad, raczej niezwykły. To połączenie z kurczaka, marchew, groszek, śmietana, ser parmezan, cebula i mleka, że rozgrzewa się jak zupę, ale wtedy mamy ziemniaki, które go do miski pierwszej i są otoczone przez połączenie rzeczy. I like it. To bardzo smaczne i obfite i nie wystarczy się po raz pierwszy do trwać dwa dni. To się nazywa gulasz z kurczaka w książce receptury. Pracuję w odrabianiu pracy domowej, tłumacząc dwa akapity z polskiego na angielski, a potem muszę zapamiętać dwa akapity z tego co tłumaczone w zeszłym tygodniu.
