Sleepless in Pozńan

Up most of the night because the pain medication wasn't strong enough to deaden the  pain after the operation. Speaking of pain, this one finger typing is a pain. I talked with the doctor  and he said I have the strongest med. and the pain should only last another two days. OH Boy!

A nice day, 26c and sunny, perfect for a food shopping day. That means driving my standard shift car to the store, one handed. I don't know if that is against the law or not. Hope I don't find out.

Joan has a new recipe for gazpacho soup that she is going to try. She has been using a different one for the last few years but it just doesn't have that authentic taste of Andalusian gazpacho.

Nie spałem przez  większość nocy, ponieważ leki przeciwbólowe nie były wystarczająco silne, aby uśmierzyć ból po operacji. Mówiąc o bólu, to boli palec, którym piszę. Rozmawiałem z lekarzem, który powiedział, że mam najsilniejsze leki przeciwbólowe. A ból potrwa tylko dwa dni. O chłopie!

Miły, słoneczny dzień, 26C, idealny dzień na zakup żywności. Oznacza to, że prowadziłam mój standardowy samochód jedną ręką, jadąc do sklepu. Nie wiem, czy to jest niezgodne z prawem, czy nie. Mam nadzieję, że nie dowiem się.

Joan ma nowy przepis na zupę gazpacho, który wypróbuje. Od kilku lat używała innego, ale ten po prostu nie ma tego autentycznego smaku andaluzyjskiego gazpacho.
