Relaxed

 The picture above is when I lived in the forest.  I had to break through the ice on the stream to fill a 5-gallon bucket of water, The brown "Chaps" on my lower legs were made from deer hide.

Last night, Joan and I spent an hour relaxing. Through the windows, we could see the snow gently cascading down onto the already covered in snow ground. The Christmas tree outside of the French patio doors was already covered in snow but it glowed from the many different covered lights that were on it. Inside, the big Christmas was standing to the right of the fireplace and above the fireplace hung a nice Christmas wreath. We just watched the burning log fire and listened to instrument piano Christmas Carols. Every now and then one of us would sing some of the words from the traditional carols. It was so relaxing.

Except for the singing, all of the above was taking place on our large screen TV. From YouTube, I downloaded a collection of Christmas carols, put the video that went with them, and the music on a Pendrive. Then, I plugged it into our TV to watch and listen to. This year, that may be our Christmas tree, just on the big screen. Right now, I don't have the energy to decorate the flat and put up the Christmas tree alone, but that could change.

We watched the Loeffler-Warnock debate in Georgia/ The "robot" Loeffler couldn't answer a yes or no question. She just kept regurgitating the standard Trump replies over and over. The moderator and panelists were not aggressive enough to push for answers. Did Loeffler have plastic surgery to keep that smile on her face like the Joker did?

Our friend, Radek, was in Warsaw last weekend for a Tango event so we didn't meet today as usual. When he attends an event, the next Tuesday we meet via phone. Next week will have passed enough time for coronavirus symptoms to have turned-up if they are present. If not, we will meet face to face.

Ostatniej nocy Joan i ja spędziliśmy godzinę na relaksie. Przez okna mogliśmy zobaczyć śnieg delikatnie opadający na pokrytą już śniegiem ziemię. Choinka przed francuskimi drzwiami patio była już pokryta śniegiem, ale jaśniała od wielu różnych zakrytych światełek, które na niej były. Wewnątrz wielkie Święta Bożego Narodzenia stały po prawej stronie kominka, a nad kominkiem wisiał ładny wieniec bożonarodzeniowy. Po prostu obserwowaliśmy płonący ogień i słuchaliśmy kolęd na fortepianie. Od czasu do czasu któryś z nas śpiewał kilka słów z tradycyjnych kolęd. To było takie relaksujące.

Poza śpiewem wszystko to działo się na naszym dużym ekranie telewizora. Z YouTube ściągnąłem kolekcję kolęd, umieściłem film, który z nimi był i muzykę na Pendrive. Następnie podłączyłem go do naszego telewizora, aby oglądać i słuchać. W tym roku może to być nasza choinka, tylko na dużym ekranie. W tej chwili nie mam energii, by samodzielnie urządzić mieszkanie i postawić choinkę, ale to może się zmienić.

Oglądaliśmy debatę Loeffler-Warnock w Gruzji / „Robot” Loeffler nie potrafił odpowiedzieć tak lub nie. Po prostu w kółko powtarzała standardowe odpowiedzi Trumpa. Moderator i paneliści nie byli na tyle agresywni, aby domagać się odpowiedzi. Czy Loeffler przeszedł operację plastyczną, aby zachować ten uśmiech na twarzy, tak jak zrobił to Joker?

Nasz znajomy Radek był w zeszły weekend w Warszawie na imprezie Tango, więc nie spotkaliśmy się dzisiaj jak zwykle. Kiedy jest na imprezie, w następny wtorek spotykamy się telefonicznie. W przyszłym tygodniu minie wystarczająco dużo czasu, aby objawy koronawirusa pojawiły się, jeśli są obecne. Jeśli nie, spotkamy się twarzą w twarz.

Fue tan relajante.

Excepto por el canto, todo lo anterior se estaba llevando a cabo en nuestro televisor de pantalla grande. De YouTube, descargué una colección de villancicos, puse el video que los acompañaba y la música en un Pendrive. Luego, lo conecté a nuestro televisor para verlo y escucharlo. Este año, ese puede ser nuestro árbol de Navidad, solo en la pantalla grande. Ahora mismo, no tengo la energía para decorar el piso y poner el árbol de Navidad solo, pero eso podría cambiar.

Vimos el debate Loeffler-Warnock en Georgia / El "robot" Loeffler no pudo responder una pregunta de sí o no. Seguía regurgitando las respuestas estándar de Trump una y otra vez.
