Thanks, Stephanie, for your comments and the information about FTM. Fortunately it's only February and I don't have to deal with the upcoming problem right away. Do you have a solution to the problem?

Sandy, thank you for telling me your memories of our grandfather. Since you are the oldest cousin in the U.S. you may have more memories of our grandparents and I would like to hear any stories you have to tell, in email, of course.

We went to Auchan, the company that bought the Real food store in King Cross, to do our shopping because we liked the salmon we bought there last week. To our surprise, the store was closed until tomorrow for the grand opening. So, we had to travel across town back to Carrefour for food shopping today and spent 130 zl for next week. We had a brief moment of sunshine but it quickly turned into dark skies and rained for a long time.

Last night we had the pleasure to speak to two old friends of ours, Sylwia and Ryszard, who have been living in England for a few years now. We like them both very much and it was good to Skype with them and see them. That's the thing about friends, once you make them it's hard to see them move away.

Today is Fat Thursday, the last day of stuffing yourself with doughnuts before Lent begins so everywhere there were massive amounts of them being bought.

Sandy, dziękuję, że przekazałeś  mi swoje wspomnienia o naszym dziadku. Ponieważ jesteś najstarszym kuzynem mieszkającym w USA, możesz mieć więcej wspomnień o naszych dziadkach i chciałbym usłyszeć inne historie, które oczywiście opowiesz mi w e-mailu.

Poszliśmy do Auchan, firmy, która kupiła Real w King Cross, aby zrobić zakupy, ponieważ smakował nam łosoś, którego tam kupiliśmy w zeszłym tygodniu. Ku naszemu zdziwieniu, sklep został zamknięty do jutra, do wielkiego otwarcia. Więc musieliśmy przejechać z powrotem przez miasto do Carrefoura, aby zrobić zakup żywności i dzisiaj wydaliśmy 130 zł na przyszły tydzień. Mieliśmy krótką chwilę ze słońcem, ale szybko niebo zmieniło kolor na  ciemny i przez długi czas padało.

Ostatniego wieczoru mieliśmy przyjemność porozmawiać z dwoma starymi przyjaciółmi, Sylwią i Ryszardem, którzy od kilku lat mieszkają w Anglii. Bardzo ich lubimy i było bardzo miło rozmawiać z nimi i widzieć ich na Skype. Tak to jest z przyjaciółmi, jak już ich masz, to trudno ich zobaczyć, kiedy się wyprowadzą.

Dziś tłusty czwartek, ostatni dzień, by napchać się pączkami przed rozpoczęciem Wielkiego Postu, więc wszędzie dookoła była wielka ich ilość i możliwość zakupienia.
