Busy day

 While Joan slept, I visited a nearby friend and had a nice conversation.  I used to visit her once a week but the pandemic put a stop to it. 

Between 11:00 and 13:00 I had two Skype meetings with two other friends. They live in Paczkowo, a little town close to Swarzędz where we have found the only unfurnished flat. Moving to Swarzędz would make it easier to visit them face to face.

At 14:00, the wife of the Spanish man living in Poznań that I Skype with came to visit us. She is also Spanish and just wanted someone to talk with in English. She doesn't have much occasion to speak English here.

During this time, Joan spent it either reading or watching a TV series on Netflix.

It's been gray skies for the last five days. According to standards, it is still summer but the goldenrod is blossoming into its yellow colors so, for me, it is autumn. Like in springtime, I very much like seeing the yellow plants everywhere. The dandelion and goldenrod are two of my favorite,

Kiedy Joanna spała, odwiedziłem mieszkającą w pobliżu przyjaciółkę i odbyłem miłą rozmowę. Zwykle odwiedzałem ją raz w tygodniu, ale pandemia położyła temu kres. 

Między 11:00 a 13:00 miałem dwa spotkania na Skype z dwoma innymi przyjaciółmi. Mieszkają w Paczkowie, małej miejscowości niedaleko Swarzędza, gdzie znaleźliśmy jedyne nieumeblowane mieszkanie. Przeprowadzka do Swarzędza ułatwiłaby nam odwiedzanie ich osobiście.

O 14:00 odwiedziła nas żona Hiszpana mieszkającego w Poznaniu, z którym rozmawiam przez Skype. Ona również jest Hiszpanką i chciała po prostu mieć z kim porozmawiać po angielsku. Nie ma tu zbyt wielu okazji do mówienia po angielsku.

W tym czasie Joan spędzała czas albo czytając, albo oglądając serial na Netflixie.

Przez ostatnie pięć dni niebo było szare . Według norm jest jeszcze lato, ale nawłoć rozkwita żółtymi kolorami, więc dla mnie jest już jesień. Podobnie jak wiosną, bardzo to lubię.

Mientras Joanna dormía, visité a una amiga que vive cerca y mantuve una agradable conversación. Solía visitarla una vez a la semana, pero la pandemia puso fin a eso. 

Entre las 11:00 y las 13:00 tuve dos reuniones por Skype con otros dos amigos. Viven en Paczkowo, una pequeña ciudad cerca de Swarzędz, donde encontramos el único piso sin amueblar. El traslado a Swarzędz nos facilitaría la visita en persona.

A las 14:00 nos visitó la mujer de un español que vive en Poznań y con el que hablo por Skype. Ella también es española y sólo quería tener a alguien con quien hablar en inglés. Aquí no hay muchas oportunidades de hablar en inglés.

Mientras tanto, Joan pasaba el tiempo leyendo o viendo una serie en Netflix.

Durante los últimos cinco días el cielo ha sido gris. Según las normas, todavía es verano, pero la vara de oro está floreciendo con colores amarillos, así que para mí ya es otoño. Como la primavera, me gusta mucho.
