 It was. I actually found 2 places for rent that may be suitable for us. Both are without furniture.

The first is in the Rataje area of Poznan, third floor with an elevator. Rataje flat is 1,600 PLN+ electricity, 55 m, 2 rooms, kitchen, bathroom, balcony, hallway and in the middle of a 6-floor building. I know the area, near IKEA. We will see it tomorrow at 18:30(6:30 PM)

The second is 45 minutes south of Poznan, in Koscian. It is 1,500 PLN +  electricity, on the ground floor with the same as above plus a terrace. We have been there before when Zbyszek was in a rehabilitation hospital there. The only thing I know about it is that it is a much smaller town than Poznan, has a hospital, and a Kandulski's sweet shop. We will see it Saturday at 11:00. We are not so sure if we want to be that far from Poznan, however, it is worth a trip to look at it we think.

Today, in celebration of our 46 years together, I took Joan to Sowa's. We haven't been there in a long time. Happily, we received the news from Marta, one of the salesgirls, that she will be married next week. We've known her for about three years. She is a very intelligent, bright young woman who is always a pleasure to talk with.

Contrary to the Law and Justice party's assurances, the purpose of the new regulations is not to protect the media market in Poland but to attack a specific TV station. In this way, TVN can be deprived of its broadcasting license or it can be subordinated to the power of politicians who do not want to be controlled by independent media. When we think of the loss of freedom, we think of wars, revolutions, and armies in the streets. But today it looks different - freedom is dying gradually. First, independent courts are being destroyed, then freedom of speech and free media are being muzzled, and soon it will be time for free elections as well. This is how Poles' freedom is being taken away piece by piece today," the organizers say.

Pierwsze jest na poznańskich Ratajach, trzecie piętro z windą. Mieszkanie na Ratajach to 1600 zł+prąd, 55 m, 2 pokoje, kuchnia, łazienka, balkon, przedpokój i w środku 6 piętrowego budynku. Znam tę okolicę, w pobliżu IKEA. Zobaczymy je jutro o 18:30(18:30 PM)

Drugie jest 45 minut na południe od Poznania, w Kościanie. To 1500 zł + prąd, na parterze z tym samym co wyżej plus taras. Byliśmy tam wcześniej, gdy Zbyszek był w tamtejszym szpitalu rehabilitacyjnym. Wiem o nim tylko tyle, że jest dużo mniejszym miastem niż Poznań, ma szpital i sklep ze słodyczami Kandulskiego. Zobaczymy je w sobotę o 11:00. Nie jesteśmy pewni, czy chcemy być tak daleko od Poznania, ale myślimy, że warto się tam wybrać.

Dzisiaj, z okazji naszej 46. lat razem, zabrałem Joan do Sowy. Dawno tam nie byliśmy. Ku naszej radości otrzymaliśmy wiadomość od Marty, jednej z ekspedientek, że w przyszłym tygodniu wychodzi za mąż. Znamy ją od około trzech lat. Jest to bardzo inteligentna, bystra młoda kobieta, z którą zawsze miło się rozmawia.

17:08(5:08 PM. Właśnie otrzymałam wiadomość, że mieszkanie na Ratajach zostało wynajęte. Wspaniale. Poszukiwania trwają dalej.

Na placu zebrało się kilka tysięcy osób.

O 21.00 w centrum Poznania rozpoczęła się manifestacja "Nie oddamy wolnych mediów". - Wczoraj Sejm z naruszeniem sejmowego regulaminu uchwalił tzw. ustawę anty-TVN. Wbrew zapewnieniom PiS celem nowych regulacji prawnych nie jest ochrona rynku medialnego w Polsce, ale atak na konkretną stację telewizyjną. W ten właśnie sposób TVN może zostać pozbawiony koncesji na nadawanie lub zostanie podporządkowany władzy polityków, którzy nie chcą być kontrolowani przez niezależne media. Kiedy myślimy o utracie wolności, to mamy przed oczami wojny, rewolucje i wojsko na ulicach. Ale dzisiaj wygląda to inaczej - wolność umiera stopniowo. Najpierw niszczy się niezawisłe sądy, potem nakłada się kaganiec na wolność słowa i wolne media, a wkrótce przyjdzie także czas na wolne wybory. Tak właśnie dzisiaj, kawałek po kawałku, zabiera się wolność Polaków - informują organizatorzy.

El primero está en la zona de Rataje de Poznan, tercer piso con ascensor. El piso de Rataje cuesta 1.600 PLN+ electricidad, 55 m, 2 habitaciones, cocina, baño, balcón, pasillo y en medio de un edificio de 6 plantas. Conozco la zona, cerca de IKEA. Lo veremos mañana a las 18:30 (18:30)

El segundo está a 45 minutos al sur de Poznan, en Koscian. Son 1.500 PLN + electricidad, en la planta baja con lo mismo que arriba más una terraza. Ya hemos estado allí cuando Zbyszek estaba en un hospital de rehabilitación. Lo único que sé de ella es que es una ciudad mucho más pequeña que Poznan, tiene un hospital y una tienda de dulces Kandulski. Lo veremos el sábado a las 11:00. No estamos muy seguros de querer estar tan lejos de Poznan, sin embargo, creemos que vale la pena un viaje para verlo.

Hoy, para celebrar nuestros 46 años juntos, he llevado a Joan a Sowa's. Hacía tiempo que no íbamos.
