Another day.

With another nice day outside, I thought we would take a little trip to Pniewy to look at a flat I saw on the internet. The town is a 30-minute drive northwest of where we live. It was a nice ride there and back and good for Joan to be away from our flat for a little while.  It didn't bother me to drive there. What did bother me were the stairs and the lack of a clothes washing machine! I should have asked about that before we went there so it's my own fault. We did, however, stop in town and have a late lunch in one of the restaurants.

12 years ago, when we moved into this flat, we didn't think we would be moving again. It was no problem for us to buy enough furniture to fill it. Now, I see that was a mistake. Without furniture to think about, I  could easily have found a furnished one by now. I must have looked at 30 of them last night while Joan slept. Don't misunderstand me, we have liked living here. The new tenant will find it very convenient with all the little stores so close, the church nearby, and only a 10-minute drive to the center of Poznan. Another big plus, are the neighbors we have. They were very helpful when Joan's problems began. We will certainly miss them and our friends who also live 5 minutes away on foot. We have had many good dinners on the large balcony we have. Another plus is that the owners are very nice also.

Kolejny ładny dzień na zewnątrz, pomyślałem więc, że zrobimy małą wycieczkę do Pniew, aby spojrzeć na mieszkanie, które widziałem w Internecie. Miasto jest 30 minut jazdy na północny zachód od naszego miejsca zamieszkania. To była miła przejażdżka tam i z powrotem i dobra dla Joan, aby przez chwilę była z dala od naszego mieszkania. Nie przeszkadzało mi to, że tam pojechałem. Przeszkadzało mi natomiast natomiast w tym mieszkaniu prowadzące do niego schody i brak pralki! Powinienem był o to zapytać, zanim tam pojechaliśmy, więc to moja wina. Zatrzymaliśmy się jednak w mieście i zjedliśmy późny lunch w jednej z restauracji.

12 lat temu, kiedy wprowadziliśmy się do tego mieszkania, nie sądziliśmy, że będziemy się znowu przeprowadzać. Nie było dla nas problemem kupić tyle mebli, żeby je wypełnić. Teraz widzę, że to był błąd. Bez mebli, o których trzeba myśleć, mogłem już z łatwością znaleźć umeblowane mieszkanie. Musiałem przejrzeć ze 30 ogłoszeń o mieszkaniach ostatniej nocy, kiedy Joan spała. Nie zrozumcie mnie źle, lubimy tu mieszkać. Dla nowego lokatora będzie tu bardzo wygodnie, bo wszystkie małe sklepy są blisko, kościół w pobliżu, a do centrum Poznania jest tylko 10 minut jazdy samochodem. Kolejnym dużym plusem są sąsiedzi, których mamy. Bardzo nam pomogli, gdy zaczęły się problemy z Joan. Na pewno będzie nam ich brakowało, jak również naszych przyjaciół, którzy również mieszkają 5 minut drogi pieszo. Zjedliśmy wiele dobrych obiadów na dużym balkonie, który mamy do dyspozycji. Kolejnym plusem jest to, że właściciele są również bardzo mili.

Con otro bonito día en el exterior, pensé en hacer un pequeño viaje a Pniewy para ver un piso que vi en Internet. La ciudad está a 30 minutos en coche al noroeste de donde vivimos. Fue un buen viaje de ida y vuelta y le vino bien a Joan estar un rato fuera de nuestro piso.  No me molestó conducir hasta allí. Lo que sí me molestó fueron las escaleras y la falta de una lavadora de ropa. Debería haber preguntado sobre eso antes de ir allí, así que es culpa mía. Sin embargo, nos detuvimos en la ciudad y almorzamos tarde en uno de los restaurantes.

Hace 12 años, cuando nos mudamos a este piso, no pensábamos que volveríamos a mudarnos. No nos costó comprar los muebles suficientes para llenarlo. Ahora veo que fue un error. Sin muebles en los que pensar, ya podría haber encontrado fácilmente uno amueblado. Debo haber mirado 30 anoche mientras Joan dormía. No me malinterpretes, nos ha gustado vivir aquí. El nuevo inquilino lo encontrará muy conveniente con todas las pequeñas tiendas tan cerca, la iglesia cerca, y sólo 10 minutos en coche al centro de Poznan. Otra gran ventaja son los vecinos que tenemos. Nos ayudaron mucho cuando empezaron los problemas de Joan. Sin duda los echaremos de menos, así como a nuestros amigos que también viven a 5 minutos a pie. Hemos tenido muchas buenas cenas en el gran balcón que tenemos. Otro punto a favor es que los propietarios también son muy agradables.
