Boxed dining room chairsOff to the new flat to put together our new furniture.
We started in the dining room with the chairs, put four together and then discovered the other two were black in color. That means we have to take them back, go to customer service and see if we can make the understand those chairs are wrong. That should be fun :-(

We did get the two night stand together and then started on the coat closet but it was already 2PM and we were hungry so we didn't complete it. We'll go back tomorrow and finish.
We did discover that our neighbor has a new baby. It was easy to hear her crying when we were at the door to our apartment. Their door is right next to ours.
Precz do nowego mieszkania by montować nasze nowe meble. Zaczęliśmy w jadalni z krzesłami, kładziemy cztery razem i wtedy odkrył inny dwa były czarne w kolorze. Które znaczy, że musimy odebrać ich, pójść do obsługi klientów i zobaczyć jeżeli możemy zrobić rozumieją, że te krzesła nie mają racji. Które powinno być zabawa :-(
Dostaliśmy dwa nocy stoisko razem i wtedy zaczęło się na gabinecie płaszcza ale to było już 2PM i byliśmy głodni tak nie uzupełniliśmy tego. Wrócimy jutro i skończymy.
Odkryliśmy, że nasz sąsiad ma nowe dziecko. To było łatwe by usłyszeć jej płacz kiedy byliśmy przy drzwiach do naszego apartamentu. Ich drzwi mają rację obok naszego.

David, moving house is not always easy and produces a lot of wild cards, If you are a light sleeper a crying baby may be a problem.
ReplyDeleteFrom my experience when you have something delivered in Poland, its a standard trick to be advised that your address is the ground floor and it will cost more if you live on a higher level.
Its best to unpack in front of the people who deliver to ensure all is correct and not accept anything not in order.

ReplyDeleteI hope you did not hear the crying baby thru the walls. It is possible to hear thru the door since they are not sound proof.
Everything looks great and I hope you will have no problem with changing your chairs to right ones.
I know you will be fine once you are in your new home.
