Christmas day dinner.

Santa came early yesterday and delivered my copy of the new book "The Warsaw Conspiracy" by James Conroyd Martin. I could only read the first 30 pages before we started to make the second batch of chruschiki but it's very good. We'll take the second batch tomorrow when we go to a friends dinner party and get a lot of opinions of our baking. It should be interesting.

Christmas dinner was excellent. The first time experience of eating roasted duck was very good, very tasty although I was a little suprised that a five pound duck didn't have a lot of meat on it.  Nevertheless, the duck, salad, potatoes, zucchini, noodles with poppy seed ,coffee, apple pie and chruschiki were all excellent. Joan did a great job preparing the meal while I set the table.

Święty przyszedł wcześnie wczoraj i dostarczone mój egzemplarz nowej książki "Conspiracy Warszawa" Jamesa Conroyd Martin. Mogę czytać tylko pierwsze 30 stron, zanim zaczął tworzyć drugą partię chruschiki ale to bardzo dobre. Weźmiemy drugą partię jutro, kiedy idziemy na obiad przyjaciół partii i uzyskać wiele opinii tego wypieku. Powinny być interesujące.

Kolacja była doskonała.Pierwsze doświadczenie czasie jedzenia pieczona kaczka była bardzo dobra, bardzo smaczne, choć byłem trochę zaskoczony, że pięć kaczka funt nie mają dużo mięsa na nim. Niemniej jednak, kaczka, sałatka, ziemniaki, cukinia, makaron z makiem, kawa, szarlotka i chruschiki były doskonałe. Joan świetną robiła przygotowując posiłek, a ja ustawić tabeli.
