Fan Zone

Not a sunny day but still nice.  To feel the excitement of the day we went to the rynek to mingle with the thousands of Croation and Irish fans of tonight's game in Poznań. It seemed like the Irish fans were far outnumbered by the red and white of the Croatian fans.  They were everywhere and we had to wander up one of the sidestreets to find a place to sit for coffee. Even though we aren't big fans of the games, it's easy to feel the excitement of the fans and what impressed me was that at many places Irish fans were sitting with Croatian fans. There didn't seem to be any feeling of "me against you" but rather, let's just enjoy ourselves and have fun. The one picture above of the different nationality of fans all together shows that.

We took a roundabout way to the Fan Zone at Plac Wolności and after going through a security check we were admitted.  The folk-rock band, Rzepczyno, was performing on the stage and providing the music while we were there.

Back in our car and driving up Garbary street there were a group of Croatian fans trying to cross the busy street so I stopped to let them.  In a "thank you" response, they all clapped as they passed in front of our car. I thought that was nice.

Nie słoneczny dzień, ale nadal ładny. Aby poczuć emocje dnia poszliśmy do rynek do mieszają się z tysiącami Croation i irlandzkich fanów gry dzisiejszym w Poznaniu. Wydawało się, że irlandzcy fani znacznie liczniejsze przez czerwony i biały z kibiców chorwackich. Byli wszędzie i trzeba było wędrować w górę jeden z sidestreets znaleźć miejsce do siedzenia na kawę. Nawet jeśli nie jesteśmy wielkimi fanami gier, łatwo poczuć emocje fanów i co zrobił na mnie wrażenie, że w wielu miejscach irlandzcy fani siedzieli z fanami Chorwacji. Tam nie wydają się być wszelkie poczucie "ja przeciwko tobie", ale raczej, po prostu cieszyć się i bawić.Jedno zdjęcie powyżej z różnych narodowości fanów wszystko razem pokazuje, że.

Pojechaliśmy okrężną drogą do Strefy Fan na Placu Wolności i po przejściu kontroli bezpieczeństwa zostaliśmy przyjęci.Folk-rockowy zespół, Rzepczyno, występował na scenie i dostarczanie muzyki, podczas gdy tam byliśmy.

Powrót w naszym samochodzie i jazdy na ulicy Garbary było grupa fanów chorwackich próbuje przejść przez ruchliwą ulicę, więc zatrzymał się pozwolić im. W "dziękuję" odpowiedzi, wszyscy klaskali jak przeszli przed naszym samochodem. Myślałem, że było miło.
