Pictures and trip planning.

I spent the morning sending all the pictures I've collected of my mother and grandfather Kazmierczak to my nephew to further his collection of old family photo's. It took a while to select them all from the large collection of photo's I have gathered over the last 14 years. They include all families connected to me by blood and I'm thankful to everyone who has sent me pictures of their families.

Today was another beautiful day, weather wise, and I have a feeling we are heading into autumn now with the golden rod in full bloom of it's bright yellow color. I like seeing the huge fields of this, much like the rapeseed fields we see in the spring although there are many more fields of rapeseed.

I finished planning our trip to Budapest with my nephew and his wife next month. After booking the rental car from Budget, in their Terms and Conditions, it said the maximum age limit was 70, I'm 71. I called and talked with someone who said the actual limit is 75 and it wasn't a problem. Since it's a long drive to Budapeszt, I thought it would be better to drive half way there through Czech Republic, spend the night close to Brno and then finish the drive the next day. I consulted with my nephew about it and he agreed. On the way back we will go through Slovakia to a town close to Krakow, spend the night and then finish our our trip back home. I'm hoping we can get to the hotel early and then at least go to Krakow to show them the rynek there. I think it's going to be a great trip for all of us and certainly for them since they have never seen Budapeszt.

Cały poranek spędziłem na wysyłaniu wszystkich zdjęć mojej mamy i dziadka Kazimierczaka, jakie zebrałem, do mojego bratanka dla jego przyszłej kolekcji starych rodzinnych fotografii. Trochę czasu zajęło ich wybranie z dużej kolekcji zdjęć, jaką zebrałem w ciągu ostatnich 14 lat. Obejmują one wszystkie rodziny z którymi jestem spokrewniony i jestem wdzięczny każdemu, kto wysłał mi zdjęcia swoich rodzin.

Dziś był kolejny piękny dzień, „rozsądna” pogoda  i mam wrażenie, że zmierzamy teraz ku jesieni z kwitnącą złotą nawłocią w jasnożółtym kolorze. Lubię oglądać ogromne obszary z tą rośliną, podobnie jak pola rzepaku, które widzimy na wiosnę, choć tych ostatnich jest o wiele więcej.

Skończyłem planowanie naszego wyjazdu do Budapesztu z moim siostrzeńcem i jego żoną w przyszłym miesiącu. Po dokonaniu rezerwacji na wynajem samochodu w Budget, w ich warunkach umowy jest powiedziane, że górna granica wieku wynosi 70 lat , a ja mam 71. Zadzwoniłem i rozmawiałem z kimś, kto powiedział, że aktualna granica wieku to 75 i nie ma problemu. Ponieważ do Budapesztu jest długa droga, pomyślałem, że będzie lepiej przejechać  połowę drogi  przez Czechy, spędzić noc w pobliżu Brna i dokończyć podróż następnego dnia. Skonsultowałem się z moim bratankiem a on się zgodził. W drodze powrotnej będziemy jechać przez Słowację do miasta niedaleko od Krakowa, aby tam spędzić  noc, a następnego dnia dokończymy naszą podróż  z powrotem do domu. Mam nadzieję, że uda nam się dojechać do hotelu wcześnie, a następnie udać się do Krakowa, by pokazać im Rynek. Myślę, że to będzie wielka podróż dla nas wszystkich, a na pewno dla nich, ponieważ nigdy nie widzieli Budapesztu.
